But with everybody pimping the shit out of Adventure Time (and deservedly so) this thing has kinda fallen by the wayside: It's about Mordecai (a blue jay) and Rigby (a raccoon) that live and work in some sort of public park run by Benson (a talking gumball machine) with coworkers Skips (a yeti voiced by Mark Hammil), Pops (a functionally retarded man that's shaped like a lollipop), Muscleman (a chubby green smelly guy with a penchant for removing his shirt), and High Five Ghost (a ghost with a hand coming out the top of his head.) All characters except for Merdecai and Rigby are pretty much unimportant and the sense of humor is genius here. If you liked Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Beavis and Butthead, or Cow and Chicken there's no reason you shouldn't love this show. Regular Show represents everything I want from a cartoon aimed at kids 7-12. There are no lessons or moral values (there's an entire episode where one of the main characters fucks everything up and it's resolved by blaming Benson even though it wasn't his fault), they don't walk on eggshells (there are constant references to death and dying and the characters tend to say the word "pissed" a lot), and it's random without relying too heavily on non-sequitors.
