Far Cry 3

Ok so there was nary a mention of Far Cry 3 when it came out around here. It was a fun game though, despite annoying ass characters (including your player character) it was a fun ass game. A little bit of Dishonored, a little bit of fallout rolled into a Just Cause-esque island paradise. Anyway I think people should play it, it's a good title.

 

But! But, I did not really make this thread about the main game, no. You see there is a piece of DLC coming out for Far Cry 3 that looks absolutely insane featuring Michael Biehn

So hackers found an exploit allowing them to get Blood Dragon (among others) early.

 

Hackers have cracked Ubisoft's uPlay PC download services, enabling them to download all of the publisher's games for free - including the unreleased Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

So glad you don't need FarCry 3 to play this (never played a single entry in the Cry series). I'm kinda bummed its not a full retail release though....

I'm hoping if it's successful that it will encourage them to maybe just go through with making a Blood Dragon series. It would be cool to see something this crazy on a full scale.

It was announced on April fools day but the gag is its not a gag. Music is fukin epic as well.

 

I agree this shoulda been a full retail joint. There's gameplay footage w funny ass commentary by the creative director if you look it up.
