Anyone else catch this on Netflix? For me its perhaps the best single series of television that Netflix has produced (Not that I've watched all their stuff, but from what I've watched). Ansari his on a lot of stuff across a broad spectrum of topics that resonated with me.

I've not actually looked at his stand up, so I can't really judge. It is quite funny, without being like try hard funny.

I hadn't heard of this show until seeing the thread this morning. Then a friend posted this article on FB. I saw Aziz do stand up a few years ago and found him mildly funny (and he wasn't my fave on Parks and Rec), but his show looks like it's tackling really relevant subjects, especially with all that's been going on around the world lately.

Yeah, the episode "Indians on TV" kinda does what it says on the tin. An amazing episode that looks at how the race is treated in the entertainment biz.

 

Also, his parents are fucking amazing.

This is at the top of my netflix TV queue after Jessica Jones and before Narcos. There's just too damn much good TV on.

Good pic DoJ! Loving this so far. It has a Louie feel to it in parts, just not as cringey. Very funny though.
