The NZA
so this was an old argument that i wanna say came up here forever ago in some form - 25+ years later, which do you think was the best picture?
the division of joy
I think in terms of pop culture impact, Pulp Fiction is the clear winner. The other 2 have had definite impacts on the 25 years that have followed it, but there's been so many nods, references and influences from Pulp Fiction its crazy. That said, I think Shawshank is the best film of the 3 for my money, but its bloody close.
The NZA
yeah i'm leaning in that direction too - influence is a whole other question, but if i'm gonna put one of those on today, it'd be pulp fiction
Dag
I liked all three movies a lot. Now that I am an adult though, I feel uncomfortable with the gratuitous use of the N-word in Pulp Fiction. It is completely unnecessary to the story. I voted for Gump, but Shawshank is just as good. They both have a timeless quality to them.
alive she cried
"1995 Bear Picture Nominees" While I like Forest Gump it's not even in the same ball park for me. Shawshank is incredible, but Pulp Fiction is a near perfect film, and for me takes the win.
