  1. I need to add you on origin if it didn't connect us via steam already. I haven't settled on a main. I went Gib since I'm a Rein main but I think the games fast pace doesnt really reward his play style.

  2. rofl. my list is pulled from the YT vid way before distribution my mans. ❤️

And I loved that game as well. I can't even tell you how many hours I wasted away playing that beautiful game.

    FUCKING WHAT?

I MEAN, FUCKING WHAT?! That's the game that got me into THAT SERIES way back when. I will buy this day one.

Also, any word on Persona ever making it to Switch?

So my source doesn't have that info yet, but in my years of following industry trends (because I find it fun, fuck me right?) -  I'f I'd have to make an educated guess, you'll hear something post Joker release in smash and it will piggyback on the rumors of the additional Persona 5 re-release+extra content that's been talked about here and there. Atlas is most likely putting the final touches on all the Catherine stuff now, and will push out the additional p5 stuff sometime after.

  4. Funny title out of the way, one of one of the perks of what I do is that I've made a few contacts over the years who can give me information early. For a year-ish now, I've been getting direct info a little in advance. If you're curious what's going to be announced tomorrow, it'll be in the spoiler tag. Play nice, don't go around screaming about it until tomorrow when they air it, please.

  5. So here's my tinfoil hat theory. Nintendo was hyper focused on making the Switch a success. So they told a team to start working on MP4. Or whatever it was called. Nintendo went back to focusing on the Switch success. Cut to 3 years later, switch is a success. Nintendo goes - ok lets go check in on this metroid thing.

...they were not happy with the results.

After the failure of other M, they could not risk having another bad metroid game - especially one on their newest hottest console. Nintendo lives and dies by its exclusives and the Switch hasent hit max saturation yet - thus needing another big first party hit.

...Nintendo make a phone call to Austin and has to eat a lot of crow, and offer up a lot of funds and now, in a few years - we will get the Metroid game everyone wants.

Rob Liefeld Returns to Marvel Comics with 'Major X'

The legendary creator introduces an original character with the six-part limited series this April!

As revealed today by Entertainment Weekly, this April, Rob Liefeld reenters Mighty Marvel Mutantdom with the six-issue limited series, MAJOR X.

The creator of Deadpool, Cable, Domino, and some of the most storied X-Men comics in recent memory returns to the House of Ideas with a character that he's had in mind for over 25 years. And now it's ready to be unleashed.

Writing and illustrating issue #1, Liefeld introduces this mysterious new player into the Marvel Universe. And the X-Men are his first targets.

"This has been a very long time coming," says Liefeld. "I did two-and-a-half years on NEW MUTANTS and X-FORCE, and we had a great time, but like anybody you have stories that you didn't get to tell... This is a pretty big one. MAJOR X is a pretty giant undertaking."

"My whole thing was always to throw a pretty big wrench in the works—'the works' being the X-Men Universe," he teases. "Major X arrives from a different plane of existence—which is called the X-Istence, a safe-haven for mutants—and suddenly it's threatened and terrorized. And his home is taken from him.

"He makes the jump, in a last-ditch effort to try and save his home, and arrives in our Marvel X-Men continuity. But the first jump didn't quite land him where he needed to go, so it was pretty exciting to put him in 1991, somewhere between NEW MUTANTS #98 and X-FORCE #1," he says. "I'm literally writing the Cable and the Deadpool and the Shatterstar of my youth."

So why now? Why is 2019 the year to finally unleash a character that he's had in mind for so long? "I think everyone's seen in the last few months that the spotlight has returned to the X-Men family of books," he explains. "I can tell as a fan of Marvel Comics that the X-Men have a renewed vigor. It feels like a renaissance of ideas and energy in the X-Men office.

"And I'm putting it all out there with this one."

Issue #2 will have art by Brent Peebles, as the tale of MAJOR X continues to unravel, before legendary X-Men artist Wilce Portacio joins the creative team.

Are these seasons self-contained? Can you just jump in whenever? Season 2 seemed to be a stinker by all accounts, but if later stuff is good, I've been searching for things to binge.

Yes the seasons are self contained. I loved the book House of Leaves and S2 has a very House of Leaves vibe to it so ill fucking fight people over it. Overall they are all worth watching since each season is only 6 1-hour episodes.

  8. So I finally got to watch the dream door this week.

...holy fuck shit was this season amazing. It has entire story arcs, a fantastic monster...a straight up 80s vibe (without being stranger things) and a great cast. I don't think I can praise how fucking great this season was. I mean, come on - it's only 6 episodes and they did SO much with those 6 episodes. It makes such great use of the "downtime" between big monster things...

oh and that whole fetus thing?!

Do not sleep on Channel Zero. Seriously.

  9. Love it. Got the "meta" ending I guess? I haven't looked up the other endings but it was a fun way to spend an evening.

by meta ending i mean the one where dudes daughter makes the reboot of the game FOR netflix. I realize this could be confused by the one where you pick the netflix option that i've heard about.

  10. So far the series has been pretty good. I actually like that it focus' on "lesser" x-people - because when the big names are on the page they feel like they have more impact. Sounds like they want to go back to business as usual after this X-man arc is all wrapped up though.

I find it ironic that they are both magicians in the occult sense of the word.

I stopped reading Watchmen halfway through the story. I just wasn't really into it. I do, however, really find Moore's theory of Ideaspace to be fascinating.

I read Asylum by Morrison a few years back and I just thought it was okay. I've been planning to read the Invisibles for a few years now, but I haven't gotten around to it. I find his story of inspiration from the Voudon Gnostic Workbook for the Invisibles to be entertaining and the fact that he got the fright of his life from experimenting with the VGW to be amusing. He talked about his experiences with the VGW extensively on Kevin Smith's podcast. It's a good story. He approached the book all wrong though.

Have you read any of his books ON superheroes? According to my Audible, the one I'm specifically talking about is SUPERGODS. It really goes into the mythology of the superhero and if I'm thinking of it right, it goes into his own personal experiences with the occult.
