Personally, I'd love if the series took place during the missing time period between Episodes III and IV, and maybe focus on the backstory of a young Han Solo and Chewbacca back when they met, how they came to be partners, etc. And you can of course introduce a whole range of new characters or even younger/older of characters from the old/new trilogies.
As far as a show about all new "minor" characters, I will quote from the movies and say "I have a baaaad feeling about this...".

It would have involved Sofie Fatale inheriting Bill's empire and training Vernita Green's daughter.
That would be quite difficult, given she has no arms... (Unless she got like some really cool prosthetics or something).
It would also have Kido's daughter playign a role. He said he was thinking of shooting a few scenes to get the actors at a young age, but it's unconfirmed if he ever shot any footage with any of those actresses. He was also interested in anime prequels. Tarantino says alot of things though. The anime concept would be interesting. Kinda like what the Wachowskis did with Enter The Matrix.

This should be very interesting. I'd definitely love to check it out just to see what extras they have added to the movie.
Oh also I read somewhere (on imdb.com I think) that Tarentino originally had plans to do a sequel movie which the main plot was the now-grown-up daughter of Vernita Green was searching Beatrix out to get revenge for killing her mother, but that somehow those plans never fully materialized or were dropped. Anyone have anymore info on this?

The Final Fantasy Retrospective
Wow...up to part VII right now, this is a great look back at the series...thanks again to bish & newt.
i had no idea FF 1 came out 2 days before Phantasy Star 1, that's crazy. Also, VI = still the best.
I'm up to VI right now, and I am seriously enjoying this! I learned a lot of interesting facts about all the Final Fantasy games that I had never known before! I can't wait to see the rest.

So what made you decide to come back to Hondo's?
I'm genuinely curious. Either way, I am glad you're back, and so are a lot of people I am sure.
