I've definately heard of it, but neglected to pick it up partly because of the intimidating number of books. But if it contains such a level of violence and sexual depravity that a Preacher fan is horrified by it, I'll have to check it out eventually.

Oh, FF12 is on PS3...? I thought it was coming to PS2. If it turns out to be on PS3, that'll be really lame because then they didn't keep the tradition of 3 games per console generation.

I'm hoping and praying that FF12 will measure up to my very high expectations. I haven't had my FF fix since 10 was released (what, 4 years ago?) so I'm becoming quite ornery with Squenix. I'm not some rich punk who can afford to play that online FF11 shit, and FF10-2 just didn't do it for me...

Hm...I've played Chrono Trigger and Xenosaga Ep.1, so I agree that Mitsuda is great as well, but I've been unable to find a copy of Xenogears unfortunately. As far as more of my favorites: From FF6, I like "Coin Song" (like you said), "Kefka's theme", "Cyan's theme", "Spinach Rag", "Johnny C. Bad", "Kids run thru the city", among others. From FF7, good songs are "ShinRa Co.", "Holding my thoughts in my head", "Main Theme", "Descendant of the Shinobi", "The Nightmare Begins", "Interrupted by Fireworks", "Reunion", "Judgement Day", and "J-E-N-O-V-A" FF8 songs would be "Breezy, "Ami", "Blue Fields" I don't know if you really liked FF9 but good songs there would be "Village of Dali", "Over The Hill"(my favorite), "A Song From Her Memory", "Kuja's Theme", "Forgotten Face", "Amarant's Theme", and "Janitor of Time" Hope that didn't bore yeh.

Heh..."Wicked City" is one gratuitous piece-a-shit. As far as recommendations, you should be sure to watch any and all Miyazaki film (Mononoke, Spirited Away are musts), Ghost In The Shell and Akira are great action films. Also, I just got back from seeing Steamboy in theaters...it's definately worth your time.

Advent Children is gonna be deadly. You seen the trailers? Those things are fuckin' amazing.
