Holiday music

Who loves it? Who hates hearing it everywhere you go? What is your favorite, or least favorite, holiday song?

 

Personally O Holy Night never ceases to amaze me, even though I'm not christian. Something about it just brings up the happiness and comfort I've felt over the past holiday seasons. The same feeling I get from snow and twinkly lights, and having my family all together eating good food. When I was a church goer I sang it for the congregation every year.

 

On the other hand, I HATE Christmas music sang in characture voices. No chipmunk voices, or fake old people voices or whatever. Not amusing, just annoying like fingernails on a chalkboard. I cringe.

I dislike the majority of all christmas songs.

 

These, however, work for me.

I love holiday music and sometimes find myself singing it off season...I've been known to wake up singing, "Let it Snow" in the middle of July, for example.

 

My favorites are "Carol of the Bells", "Silent Night" & "Baby It's Cold Outside"

 

I honestly don't think that there is a holiday song that I don't like!

A couple of years back (or was it last year) some cellphone company came out with this cool Santa named Claus and they had MP3s for dl on FB. I know I have a copy SOMEWHERE, but it had Christmas in Hollis along with other cool Christmas songs to jam to (as well as some Hanukkah songs)...
