Panch Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Rented this the other night not expecting much and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I think someone mentions it in the Last Movie Seen thread, but I think it deserves its own thread. Woody is amazing (might be his best performance). Funny, sad and with a lot of heart. Everyone on Hondos should watch Defendor!!! <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kg8HFQ1xP4?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kg8HFQ1xP4?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kg8HFQ1xP4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
The NZA Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 this looks like a straight comedy with sadness mixed in. i'm admittedly curious, beyond just the idea that D-man got a movie.
Panch Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 If D-Man was like Defendor he'd be my favorite Marvel character.
Iambaytor Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 D-Man totally deserves a movie, I'm sure her could even wear Affleck's old Daredevil costume sans mask, though how they would incorporate the Wolverine aspect (given Jackman wears none) into a movie is beyond me, maybe he'd just have the Daredevil costume and stupid har.
Mr. Hakujin Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I remember reading about this on here a while back as well. Too bad it didn't get any kind of real release as it looks like a winner. Will definitely watch.
Panch Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 This is a Hondos movie and comparisons to D-Man are dead on.
