After years of teases, small-scale DVD releases and general suspicions, Nickelodeon has announced The Splat, a brand new television channel dedicated to your favorite ’90s Nicktoons of yore.

On Saturday, a full-length channel for the network quietly premiered on YouTube with clips from faves including “Rugrats,” “Rocko’s Modern Life,” “CatDog” and “Ren & Stimpy,” among others. A bare-bones website also launched, which links to recently-launched social media channels on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Been having the complete series of Rocko's Modern Life, Ren n' Stimpy, Doug and AAAAA! Real Monsters. I watch 'em regularly - glad these landmark quality cartoons are seeing the light of day again. They deserve it. I saw Hey, Arnold! the complete series at Walmart for $20 a couple of weeks ago - not that big a fan, but worth a shout-out.

Ah, the ink n' paint days - I love watching this stuff.
