alive she cried
Tasslehoff Burrfoot: Jason Marsden would'nt it be great if "Burrfoot" was his nickname and his actual surname turned out to be "Hasselhoff". Give me a book with a character called "Tasslehoff Hasselhoff" and i'll give you my cash
Reverend Jax
for those of you who have read the Dragonlance books, I'm sorry, but it's true.
Lycaon
Keifer Sutherland as Raistlin? would'nt it be great if "Burrfoot" was his nickname and his actual surname turned out to be "Hasselhoff". Give me a book with a character called "Tasslehoff Hasselhoff" and i'll give you my cash I'm sorry, but it's true. It is. I just figured they were so common at Hondo's, that actually commenting on an occurrence of it would be more than a little redundant.
Reverend Jax
Right, but there's different levels. I have every Weird Al Yankovic album, but this is beyond the pale even for the Hondo's bunch.
Lycaon
You have every Weird Al Yankovic album? Nerd. Just so you know, Arch's not the only person to've read some of the Dragonlance series.
FireDownBelow
I never cared for them. Should I just stone myself now? However...if anyone here has read every Drizzt book and the Belgariad besides me, then I won't feel so bad.
alive she cried
i have no idea what you're talking about
FireDownBelow
Exactly my point. Or rather...my point was, there are things nerdier than reading the Dragonlance books.

Not every Drizzt book, but all of The Belgariad, The Malloreon, The Elenium, and The Tamuli.
FireDownBelow
Oh, oh, oh! I own all of them. I can quote the first sentence of the Belgariad. Ly, will you marry me? And Arch, Guitar Hero isn't nerdy. That's just fun.
archangel
So is playing DnD, but it's still nerdy
FireDownBelow
Um, guilty on that count as well.

And Arch, Guitar Hero isn't nerdy. That's just fun. Don't you already have someone fortunate enough to hold that position? So is playing DnD, but it's still nerdy My major point in this thread being (beyond me not being certain that Keifer Sutherland as a great casting choice for Raistlin Majere) that being nerdy or geeky is not a bad thing. Also, that DND is great.
archangel
agreed. I think Keifer will do a good job as Raistlin: he already has the raspy voice, and we know he can do sarcasm pretty well. Now, if he can continue that without yelling and with good writing, he'll do damned well.
Lycaon
Man, I heard this was absolute crap.
Drifter
Has anyone on this board actually seen it? I haven't gotten around to looking for it but I heard the voice cast was suppose to be impressive. If anyone has seen it, was it good or bad and why?
