Chickens are loud, annoying, and possibly the most foul smelling creatures I can possibly think of. If they weren't delicious I'd commit poultricide on the whole lot of them.

i had one once (from a cockfighting neighbor, itd strayed/rebelled). She was cool, stoopid Ario X's dog ate her though. it was fun for a time, chasing her like i was Rocky in training. those things can turn on a dime.

I've considered chickens, but I don't fancy cleaning a coop. Birds really are rather disgusting. I think I'll just stick with dogs and cats.

Heh...chickens in the yard in city limits. I swear to God that has to be a Carribean thing. Haitians, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Jamaicans, yadda yadda. My dad and Abuelito had several in their back yards. I have to say though, once you eat a fresh egg (and I mean fresh - like minutes or hours old), no store-bought eggs can compare.

They just look so cute when they're small and yellow and fluffy... then they just get older and uglier and harder to flush.
