Hey hey...I'm a women and I posted a topic for something not "women friendly" and no man seemed to know about it (Grappler Baki)... So don't give me that.... :sly: Most people on this forum half of the time have no clue what I'm talking about...And I know some of them and I introduce them to some of the anime they watch...well whatever whats with the "women friendly" thing what do you mean by that comment anywayz... 1st Jet li Rocks all though there is just one thing that I dislike in some of his moves that is just a little to unreal it is that when in one of his movies he has a wife and he doesn't as so much touch her come on your telling me that a new wedded couple wouldn't even as so much as touch another isn't a lil' strange...Anyways I agree with you about ping that man is the king of fights he justs make you want to bow down and My favorite fight scene would have to be in Red Dragon I love all of the fight scenes except the cheese first one...Iron monkey totally rocked...I saw a movie that just so out there it was very Fantasy I don't know if anyone has heard of it is called storm riders it was kinda cool it had that whole fire ball thing and ice and a lot strange anime like things going on...I love the fight scene in MK with kang and subzero although that its not part of the topic but it was cool...The One was okay I wished it could have been better it was intersting watching jet lee fight against himself...you know I hated the Kiss of the Dragon movie he had like almost well what felt like 30mins of like everyone talking but jet he had like almost no lines and he was the main charater of the movie HELLO that wasn't leathal weapon Four but i guess the writer didn't get that part of the movie right... Put like always in all of jets movies the action fights rocked...

I so agree with you guys Akira is the Number 1 classic...If your an anime fan you have to watch it... I believe that Vampire hunter d is also like an anime classic the story wasn't so bad and I don't know i guess i just kinda like and it should be considered a classic must see...I think that Astroboy and speed race " yes the old school anime" should be given its pat on the back...I was talken to some guy the other day and he said that back in the day it was real hard to come by anime most of it was in hardcore japanese lang. with like 0 subtiles... considering how its become to popular its amazing don't you guys think so........ **note: sorry i had a lot to say today

Well, I'm sure that many of us have heard of Ramna 1/2 now its the moment of truth... how many of you have seen it all? I was thinking today that I like it but I don't think that I can watch it all its way to long...will it ever just get to the point :angry: !?! Did Esca. hook you to anime? Like you wanted to see more or was it like that was cute? Honetly I was it in Japanese and the sub.s were great it and so I pulled an overniter and saw the whole thing... I didn't like the ending ???

Well, I fell asleep after like the first few episode...I heard that it picks up after a while...Although I only saw very few of it some of it was and other parts was lol... It wasn't as great as hoped it would be...well vash is a cute charater thats about all I can say that is a bit on the positive side...

Hey Cowboy, I heard that unlimted was something about kids that go thur something like time travel or transported somewhere and are looking for there parents...they get friends that help them and stuff but I'm not all to sure...if I find some pic or a link i'll post it... :wasabi: what was it that got you started/hook on anime? :p What was the first anime you ever saw that made you say "MAN THIS ROCKS!" ? The First anime I ever saw ronin warriors ( of course i saw speed racer but ronin hooked me) and G-Force aka Gatchaman... What anime is considered a classic must see in your opinion? In my opinion I think AKIRA just kinda is the first to come to mind...The animation was great, I think that it was acutally all drawn by hand with very little use of computers (all most none), it totally just shows the greatness of japanese cartoonist...:wasabi:

Don't get me wrong sometimes I want the Jap. voices but WHY do they just SUCK! :angry: example: the hong kong versions on dvd...( you alll know what i'm talking about)... Other times the english voices are much worse :hmph: example: Salior Moon, Usagi's voice just SUCKS A** in english not only does it change 300 times it gets worse... I know, it sounds that i'm not happy with any language...the thing is I like some anime in its orginal lang. and some in mine but it never works out...Am I the only one that feels that way? Note::The point for this post is to complain about how much they somtimes, not alway, suck a**... :wasabi:

MK2 Kicked ass so did the first one (I can't even count the times i've seen them) The effects were awesome:smile:... I Also liked Jet Li the Legand 1 & 2 If you're into Kung Fu movies this rocks its like a mix of action and comedy... I liked the once upon a china trilogy :wasabi: ...humm thats all I can think off right now..

Alright my fav. RPG's are... umm thats tough here some: Final Fantasy Saga rocks although I've only played 7-10 *FF7 was my first RPG after that I fell in love with rpgs :scared: All though many disagree with me FF8 was good...many people say that it was missing the fantasy but I think it was a fantasy only in the future... I love Xenogears which took forever for me to finish but I did It Freakin' Rocks ! :wasabi: Lunar2 Is awesome I loved it the voice overs weren't that bad and the animation was good... Alundra I like the story and the animation all though I haven't finished it yet...BUT I will... Thats my list its still growing ...

:wasabi: so yeah I'm here to correct alita's comment on what an ova/oav is... you Know that I have to just becuz I know what it is (even if it was an old post) .....an ova/oav is Short for Original Animated Video (OAV), or sometimes Original Video Animation (OVA), refers to an animated feature that was produced specifically for the home video market, bypassing broadcast, cable and theatrical releases (got it off the internet).... Also, most of the stories in ova/oav's are like a what could have happened, what should have happened, or like "what happened to that guy?".... So here ends the lesson arigato!
