  1. :Hurm: If I could get my brother's... paternal contributer(using a very loose definition) outta the picture there's a possibility this whole trainwreck could be salvaged. I miss my Bro.
  2. So between a new Sin City trade(the Big Fat Kill), some unread Tranmet(Filth in the City), 2nd season of Smallville on DVD, the new Harry Potter, and The Shield on @ 11, that'd make me a... 5-peckered puppy. Pick up a pizza on the way home & I might even rub a few out. Good thing I've three days off work.
  3. Let's make a deal Nick(If only i weren't fuckin' with Admin). You're only allowed to post big long thingies like that anymore if you provide three or four words at the bottom giving us the WHOLE idea of the big long thingy without us lazy slack sick bastards felling like we're lazy & missing out on ANYTHING as a result. Sincerely yours in erection & spirit, Mr. T. Jay Rowe.
  4. Is there some kinda award Frank Miller can get for contributing so much good comic material to cinema? Batman Begins, Sin City, Daredevil(I don't care what anyone says, that movie was the shiz), there's more I can't think of... Shit!
  5. woulda been the goods tho. two hours until I see Sin City.
  6. Heh, Alana thinks Oppai is me on account of the avatars. This could be funny...
  7. Spoiler for What-now? Sin City finally hits Australian shores this Thursday. Those cunts made me wait an additional two months for this, an' I'ma enjoy it.
  8. Well, I'm a badass Cowboy livin' in the Cowboy days. Wiggy, wiggy, scratch, yo, yo, bang, bang. Me and Artemis Clyde frog go save Salma Hayek from the big metal spider. A wiggy wig wig wiggy wiggy wig Fresh cowboy from the west side Wiggy wiggy scratch yo yo bang bang Me and Artemis Clyde frog go save Salma frog parta pussy pants Go down to, well... rumpletumpskin
  9. Did anyone check out the Pilgrim sequel Garden of Eden? More forgettable than the first series. Now if we could only forget about Wolverine: The End... Young Avengers #5: Love this book. The art's crisp, the dialogue's very Bendis(without the "Bendis"), the story's a little convoluted, but I'm not gonna argue with the rollercoaster I'm being taken on. New Avengers #6: Definitely Bendis' best work at this point, there's a lotta heart in this book. Looking forward to seeing what they do with Sentry.
  10. 'Kay, I'm pretty sure trade 3 is up to #18, which I'm pretty sure puts me up to date. Don't mean to sound like a sappy fuck, but this book has honestly put me thru an emotional roller-coaster. It's gonna break the 'stream in no time. Thanx again for the recomendation Nick, this is definitely the best book I've read since Preacher.
  11. Nick, my offer stands for scanned books. I got everything current on Young Avengers & whatever else you're jonesin'. Tell me how & I'll make it happen. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « It'll be so horribly fucking easy to do it too(House of M). Reality-altering-powers-bitch gone mad dies, the status quo returns as normal. The spectacular events of Disassembled will simply have been a grand fucking illusion. Hawkeye, Vision(fie on you for not knowing his name!!) & Scott Lang return with no recollection of anything. And yeah, New Avengers becomes the West Coast Avengers 'cause everything old is new again(and Bendis loves kitch).
  12. Yeah, but that all has it's place in the numerous tie-in issues. I figured the core book would deal with the core issue: The fate of Wanda Maximoff. I think the Ultimate Spidey Hobgoblin arc has made me horribly impatient when it comes to Bendis now... So who reckons they got a bead on the ending?
  13. House of M #2: ENOUGH ALTERNATE REALITY! THERE'S A SERIOUS SITUATION IN THE REGULAR MARVEL CONTINUITY THAT NEEDS ATTENTION!!!!! It was nice to see... well you know, the same thing we see in any X-Men ish that gets the chance. I'm just wary of Bendis' big ol' wind-up which leads to inevitably low-yield.
  14. Yeah... The Molten man appearance wasn't too bad tho(the placement referenced in a punk song was a bit dodge), but it gave me a happy little fanboy grin to be able to place it.
  15. Is this one traded? Sorry Nick, but there's a lotta words up there & my attention span is reeeaaaal short right now.
  16. That's a helluva review! I'ma track this one down now.
  17. 28 Days later. Easy as pie. Speaking of which I'm hungry now... Brains? Pie? BRAIN PIE!!!
  18. Arright. First trade down & I'm jonesin' for #2! Your face is safe for the meantime Nick, this stuff's awesome!! Very character-driven(which I'm always a sucker for). Nice Texas-Lite.
  19. ... And so the king returns. Should I just fuck off back to the crap shack or swing back with my hate of Ultimate Spiderman? Oh... HA! Swing, Spiderman?! Shit like that you can't plan! ...Or... Rhyme... :tip toes off:
  20. Well I picked up vol. I today, but it's down the list from Prelude to Infinite Crisis & Preacher: Proud Americans. Looks pretty hot, but is it supposed to be black & white?
  21. Yeaaaah-HAP. Four very enthusiastic thumbs up. For some reason I lost my anticipation with all the merchandise, but that was the goods.
  22. I couldn't be arsed conquering the Barside. Fuck it.
