While Casino Royale changed the way we look at the Bond franchise it really was Skyfall that made the most strides at elevating the character into something really special. That, the villain and Judy Dench's character all take that next step. It's not only a great (and my personal favorite) Bond film, but also a great film. Period.

You can watch em all, but Casino Royale and Skyfall are the highlights. To be honest, those two are in the top 5 best Bond films of all time.

They did do that. The result was Daniel Craig's Bond. Personally, I'd like to see more Craig, but Idris Elba would be great too.

In @Donatella's defense, it had been A WHILE, since politics and sports really crossed paths in the US. Mostly, sports figures - for the last decade or more - were caught up in dumb scandals or were dancin with the "stars" and whatnot. Kaepernick was the first in a while to make headline news and for something that wasn't pointless. Obviously, there are exceptions, but no one will argue Kaep changed the game (heh) recently.

Reviving old birthday threads for folks that haven't posted since before my daughter was born (she's a teen now). Shit got bad when he started reviving old exes threads alienating current gfs. When asked to chill, he doubled down claiming that he was just "keeping their memories alive" or some such crap. It was obvious bullshit when he showed his hand posting trollface. It was douchey and pissed a bunch of people off so the thought of banning him was entertained. Never ended up happening (as you can see from the poll) and dude just fucked off to cool off for a bit. For the record, he's welcomed back any time as long as he doesn't continue that fuckery.

Haven't read The Goddammed, but you can't go wrong with Jason Aaron.
