All in all I'd say this series made it into my top five, it had a lot of the usual pitfalls of Garth Ennis but he had some great moments too. I just read some scans of Jennifer Blood and in the first issue there is an article at the back with quotes from Ennis and he kind of predicts what's going down now at DC and Marvel and the industry in general.
