Da Cap'n
MIKE WIERINGO PASSES AWAYThe comics industry lost a luminary this weekend – Mike Wieringo passed away Sunday of a sudden heart attack. Details are still sketchy as of this time, but according to close sources, the acclaimed artist had chest pains at some point during the day and called 911, but the responders did not make it in time. Wieringo was 44 years old. He was a vegetarian, and “one of the healthiest ones of us in the bunch,” as his longtime friend and collaborator Todd Dezago described him. This guy was one of my favorite artists and was big on his Tellos title for Image back in the day! He will be missed
Ganny McVagflaps
I was pretty shocked when I read this. 'ringo was great. Even if I didn't like the books he was on I always appreciated the art.

Reverend Jax
ASC has no heart. Seriously, I'd like to be able to see my memorial thread from the beyond when I pass away. ASC's only comment will be "That guy was a prick." He'll be right, but jeesh, too soon, man. Too soon.
Da Cap'n
I'm shocked that I haven't really heard anything about this since the week it happened! Usually when a writer/artist dies the companies usually dedicates a page in all their books for one week to the guy! I haven't seen that in this case! alive she cried
Seriously, I'd like to be able to see my memorial thread from the beyond when I pass away. ASC's only comment will be "That guy was a prick." He'll be right, but jeesh, too soon, man. Too soon. hey, i said "no offence". once you say that at the start you can say whatever the fuck you want to.
Ganny McVagflaps
No offense, but I've had eight or nine showers today and I still can't get the stank of yo momma's vicious poon juice offa my hang-lows. The lack of tribute is weird alright. Jesus, even Jeph Loeb's son got a whole issue of Batman/Superman. I'm sure Marvel'll pull something out.
