Well you got a lot of them right, but:

21: Wrong,

Dead Meat is an Irish zombie film from a few years ago

23:

A guy impersonating Ronald Reagan was actually the serial killer in the David Arquette's "The Tripper."

24:

Friday the 13th did feature Jason at the very end jumping out of the lake. I'm wanting one that he wasn't in at all.

1. What substance did Alfred Hitchcock use to represent blood during the shower scene in Psycho? Corn Syrup. Pig's blood was the standard of the day, but Hitchcock wanted something thicker for the part where the blood goes down the drain.

5. Jack Frost Christmas

8. Leprechaun

11. What are the 3 rules of keeping a Mogwai? 1) Light scares them/sunlight kills them. 2) Don't get them wet. 3) Most importantly, don't feed them after midnight.

Name the horror movie that started the movie career of each successful actor.

13. Leonardo DiCaprio

14. Reba McEntire

15. Holly Hunter

16. George Clooney Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

17. Stephen Dorff

1. What substance did Alfred Hitchcock use to represent blood during the shower scene in Psycho? I'd actually heard chocolate syrup, but it might be corn syrup

2. What are the sacred words one must utter before removing the Necronomicon Ex Mortis from its cradle? Wasn't it "klaatu barada nikto" from the original The Day the Earth Stood Still?

Name the holiday represented by each serial killer:

3. Jason Voorhees - Friday the 13th, if you consider that a holiday

4. Michael Myers - Halloween

5. Jack Frost - Christmas

6. Addley and Ike

7. Harry Warden

8. Leprechaun - St. Patrick's Day

9. Sam Harper

22. Of the five classic black-and-white Universal Horror monsters, which one hasn't had a remake made of it? What are the five classics? Frankenstein, Dracula and the Mummy have all been remade. They're working on the Wolf Man right now. So yeah, I'm also going to have to go with Creature from the Black Lagoon...though I hear it's in development.

25. What gimmick has never been used by a killer in a horror movie before? Tell me it's hippy. Is it hippy?

A. Gingerbread Man

B. Snow Man

C. Ronald Reagan

D. Hippy

29. How many times has Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend" been made into a film, what were the movies, and who played the title character in each one? Three times. The first was called The Last Man on Earth and starred Vincent Price. The second was Omega Man with Charlton Heston. And then the third was I Am Legend with Will Smith.

Well King Kong is a Universal property, so I figured he was one of them (obviously, having been remade, not the one that was the answer to the question).

The five that are thrown around the most and the most famous are Dracula, Wolf Man, The Mummy, Frankenstein, and The Gill Man (The Creature From the Black Lagoon), King Kong comes in a close fifth.

1. What substance did Alfred Hitchcock use to represent blood during the shower scene in Psycho?

Corn Syrup. Pig's blood was the standard of the day, but Hitchcock wanted something thicker for the part where the blood goes down the drain.

17. Stephen Dorff

Silent Bob was right, it was chocolate syrup, it was dark and thick enough for Hitchcock's taste and since the film was black and white it was perfect.

Also, George Clooney was not in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Otherwise you were right.

I'd actually heard chocolate syrup, but it might be corn syrup

All correct

If being considered for a rewrite is in development then yes it is, but its gone no further than that.

And yes, it's hippy. Gingerdead Man had a killer gingerbread man, Jack Frost had a killer snowman, and The Tripper had a killer Ronald Reagan who killed hippies. But the closest we have had to a killer hippy is Mickey Knox from Natural Born Killers.

These questions remain unanswered

Name the holiday represented by each serial killer:

27 wasn't the first one?

For those who fear spoiler tabs, Jason appeared at the end of the first film when he jumped up and grabbed the girl out of the boat, that and it's been surmised that he assisted his mother in dispatching the counselors as there were deaths in that movie that couldn't possibly have been done by a 5-foot-tall middle aged woman.

The one I'm talking about didn't feature Jason at all.

And Jax is right, George Clooney appeared in Return of the Killer Tomatoes as his first non-TV effort.

Cannibal Humanistic Underground Dweller.... something like that

Exactly! I'm surprised it took that long for someone to get it. I mean come on, it's common knowledge, so much that most people think Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller is the actual meaning of the acronym instead of Contamination Hazard Urban Disposal.

  • 1 month later...

I realized I never gave the answers to these. Here's the ones that didn't get answered

Name the holiday represented by each serial killer:

3. Jason Voorhees

4. Michael Myers

5. Jack Frost

6. Addley and Ike

7. Harry Warden

8. Leprechaun

9. Sam Harper

Jason, Michael, and Leprechaun were easy to pick out and Jack Frost wasn't much of a stretch. Sam Harper is easy to pick out if you pay attention to his first name (Uncle SAM) so it's 4th of July. Harry Warden and Ike and Addley were the hard ones. Warden appeared in My Bloody Valentine and Addley and Ike were the killers in the backwoods brutality film Mother's Day.

10. What day of the week did Friday the 13th part 3 actually take place on?

Friday the 13th Part 3 actually took place on Saturday the 14th.

Name the horror movie that started the movie career of each successful actor.

13. Leonardo DiCaprio - Critters 3

14. Reba McEntire - Tremors

15. Holly Hunter - The Burning

16. George Clooney - Return of the Killer Tomatoes

17. Stephen Dorff - The Gate

18. What is the only movie Stephen King has ever directed?

Maximum Overdrive

19. Other than "Halloween", what John Carpenter movie featured Donald Pleasence in a role with the last name "Loomis?"

Prince of Darkness

21. Which one of these films isn't about zombies?

D. Island of the Dead

23. Who invented flesh eating zombies?

24. What was the first movie to feature zombies saying the word "Brains?"

25. What gimmick has never been used by a killer in a horror movie before?

A. Gingerbread Man

B. Snow Man

C. Ronald Reagan

D. Hippy

26. Which one of these movies isn't real?

A. Pinata: Survival Island

B. Bloody Easter

C. Dr. Giggles

D. Pinocchio's Revenge

27. What Friday the 13th movie didn't actually feature Jason Voorhees?

Friday the 13th Part 5 didn't feature Jason even once except in a flashback which featured Corey Feldman. Otherwise Jason was simply a crazed paramedic dressed to look like Jason Voorhees.

28. What do the two After Dark Horror Films "Tooth and Nail" and "Borderland" have in common?

Both Tooth and Nail and Borderland featured Boy Meets World's and Cabin Fever's Rider Strong.
