bishopcruz
Well, it worked for David Boreanez in Bones. Nathan Fillion is the new lead in a show called Castle. It's a crime show that takes cues from Murder She Wrote, in that he is an author that works with the police to solve crimes. Early reviews say that he is really good in it, and it seems that way from the promo. Fillion is just damned likable.
Reverend Jax
Seems like a great premise for a movie, with a beginning, middle and end, but this looks like something that if successful, will be doing silly things to keep itself going. The NZA
same stance im taking on dollhouse: im waiting till the season's halfway done or more before i try it out. im tired of whatever socialist fox has at the helm saying "this one's doing alright! time to axe it." Lycaon
Fun show (Fillion is great in this role), but there's (for the most part) little connecting the episodes thus far.
Jumbie
To be honest, based on the trailer, Fillion seems to fit this role more naturally than Mal Reynolds and the wounded war vet thing. I'm not crazy about the premise of the series, however.
