I've got a friend who is a SERIOUS collector, and one of his recent poisons are these Hot Toys Adult Collectable figures. Typically they run about 150 to 200 bucks a piece, but the detail and articulation are INSANE. I think Logan recently posted the upcoming Avengers Hawkeye (prompting Panch to get on my case again about making the tread), and I think Hakus said he has the Joker one (Nice!)
If you've never seen them before, then you no doubt will scoff at the price tag but take a look at some of these:

Their site is currently under construction but I believe they use some kind of voodoo magic (unconfirmed) to achieve the crazy level of detail.

Sealed deck/booster draft's a great way to get your fix and have a relatively balance couple of games. I've got about 5 guys in Miami who would be down at the drop of a hat. We all started playing around Ice Age and over the years have gotten into and out of playing it, but have always loved the game. Now that we are all 'adults' it's hard to put the time in that is required to build decks, let alone play with them. One of my best friends just had a kid and sold his entire collection. It was really heartbreaking to all of us. I had half a mind to buy them off him and just hold onto them for posterity or until he had the finances and square footage to take them back. End of an era man.
I actually still buy at least a fat pack of every expansion, even though I haven't played in years. I can honestly say I still get that little endorphin rush every time I open a pack. Invariably I'm asked when purchasing boosters if I play, to which I usually wring my hands and reply
"....Soon."

While fans may love the books and therefore think faithful adherence to canon is a high virtue, only to be slightly violated if absolutely necessary, a lot of creators of original works, especially serialized works where they begin a story without complete plans of where to take a story (in the Walking Dead, Kirkman has definitely been a gardener, not an architect), creators look back and see a lot of things that they wish they'd done differently.
This is pretty much my biggest grip with Kirkman being involved with the show. The flaws, or perceived flaws, in a work are no more obvious to anyone than the creator of said work. The thing is, I really believe that a work is defined as much by it's flaws as by it's merits, and that very human temptation to 'tweak', should be avoided at all costs. This sort of revisionist history has given us such favorites as:
It's an indulgence on the part of the creator that does nothing but dilute the work in question.
Now, by no means do I think the show should be a panel for panel recreation of the book, I just worry that the motivation for the changes will be Kirkman's attempt to give the "Special Edition" treatment to his story. This is especially worrisome since the book is in no way finished. I don't think any creator is capable of completely compartmentalizing, and the temptation to work the elements that work in the show into the book (even if it makes NO sense) is too great, and we'll eventually end up with some homogenized, cross-media mess.

So, I jumped on Batman: Arkham City today to talk to the Calendar man, and while I was messing around I found out that there are number stations in the game! Went online to see if anyone else had stumbled onto them and found this! Neat little easter egg!
