I still can't believe that Marvel gave the reins to a project THIS HUGE to Whedon when you look at his financial record. Yay for Marvel, yay for Whedon, yay for us, let's hope it pays off!

If you haven't read Locke and Key yet you should. Go buy all 4 volumes, or torrent them and go buy them later. Joe Hill writes like a combination of his dad (That would be Stephen King for those not in the know) and Neil Gaiman and his work is dark and bleak and wonderful.

Yes! Recieved the first hardcover as a gift this holiday and read it in one sitting. Immediately hopped on amazon and ordered the other 3! Really enjoy it and have pimped it to two friends already!

I also think the Tim Roth sequence at the university in the last Hulk movie was more badass and like Captain America than almost everything that was in the Captain America movie. I hope we get something along those lines this time around.

For Miami members (or others when they visit), there's a great restaurant in Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors area that exclusively serves vegan food.

I've eaten there several times with friends and, while not a vegan (or vegetarian, or pescitarian) I've enjoyed several dishes immensely (don't get scared off carnivorous Hondonians!)

They also donate 100% of their profits to organizations which promote animal welfare and the vegan lifestyle.

I still prefer the look of the Norton Hulk (and the Norton Banner for that manner), but it doesn't distract from the sheer awesome sauce.

Drive was great. I thought Cowboys and Aliens looked like a piece of shit from the first trailer. Never bothered watching it, and from the sound of it, glad I saved my $15 bucks. (Nekked Olivia Wilde is a DEFINATE plus tho...)

Finished Asura's Wrath (with the 'TRUE' ending).

I loved it, but man is this a strange "game". Interesting world and character designs, great music, fantasticly over-the-top action all in it's favor, but then you have it's length (around 7-8 hours for one playthrough) and difficulty (failed like one time on my normal playthrough) working against it. Heavy, and I mean HEAVY on QTEs, but curiously, most of the QTE events have ZERO effect on progress or cinematics. Whether you nail them, just pass, or miss them entirely, most won't have any effect on what happens on screen. The only effect for the vast majority of the QTEs is a positive or negative bump to your SYNC rating (one of three ratings that determines your overall rating for each episode).

Many of the reviews out describe Asura as an interactive anime boxset over a "game" in the traditional sense, and It's a pretty spot on description. I'm hard pressed to come up with a better example of a "LOVE it or HATE it" game. If capcom had dropped this with an MSRP of 39.99, it would have taken most of the wind from the sails of those who are going to fall into the hate it camp. Asura's Wrath just breaks from too many conventions to not recieve backlash at the $60 price point.

Despite all that, anyone who is a fan of anime is going to find a lot to love. It hits ALL of the best tropes.
