Hey, I enjoyed Sonic and the Secret Rings. Better than most other new Sonic games, at the least. Not sure where you got Mario Galaxy from, I don't remember writing it and I certainly don't own it. I left out Rez because I bought it for you, you lazy louse, and as such is not technically part of my collection. You still have yet to get back to me on that one to any degree. However, I'm more than willing to keep it. It was fun, the music's neat, and you technically have the HD version anyway. And I thought I made it clear to you earlier - Never played VII. I would have thought the fact I didn't own it would've followed from that point. :p

The second season had a few episodes that were cut out. Reverend Rollo, the character introduced in the middle of the season that everybody seemed to know, was actually introduced in an unaired episode. It was canned mostly because of multiple jabs at BET. Anyway, yeah. This season focused too much on Riley, and not enough on Huey. That's just how I prefer they focus it, I suppose.

See, I'm aware of the characters as they're well developed, but it doesn't ever forget it's a mecha. There's at least a giant robot fight per episode, occasionally forsaken for other things ((that one episode where Simon punched Rossiu was fantastic all the same)), but it never forgets to have amazing mech battles. Unlike, say, Code Geass. The characters are very much worth following though, yes.

I didn't mind the repetition all that much, to be honest. I did every pre-assassination mission that came my way and enjoyed it. My gripe comes from the way they end the game by introducing thirty new elements with a punchout, and the way in which you return to collect flags, an activity which requires you to watch an unskippable cutscene which lasts several minutes each time. For the sake of metaphor: I enjoyed the ride, but the ending gave me whiplash and I take exception to the fact I have to wait in line to go on it again.

A few months after the fact, I remember more things I didn't like than things I did. Wasn't a bad game, it just pissed me off repeatedly.

What, you had to have Dead Leaves recommended to you RECENTLY? Good lord. Next you'll be telling me you've never seen the twenty other things I recommended to ya. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is the best mecha I've seen in YEARS. Possibly since Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid. It never forgets to be a mecha show, which is rare. Shows like Gundam Wing seem to occasionally forget about the giant robots in favor of people bitching about how much their giant-robot filled lives are miserable. Soap Opera nonsense.
