Thats what District 9 did for me: great plot, acting, effects. It wasn't even Avatar's plot that irked me (though it did a bit), it was outrageous claims like "it'll change the way you see movies". it was good and i really enjoyed it. and will probably enjoy more on Bluray, but it didn't live up to the promise. The thing that got me most was the 3 hour runtime...... Inglourious Basterds did that, but when it ended i wanted more movie. I just wanted Avatar to end. Having said that, the epic battle at the end was well well worth it. That delivered big time lol

same here. or at least The Hurt Locker. That was an awesome movie

..... ok good point lol. I'm just optimistic is all. But I totally see the frustration seeing all the anticipation behind part 4. That and it is seemingly too early for any sorta reboot. At least Superman had time to back it up.... doesnt excuse it for being a bad flick :\ (though I totally enjoyed Kevin Spacey as Lex)

Batman did it too though and look how that worked out. It only seems right a reboot comes after the third movie too, instead of Spider-Man meets Deadpool.... that might not be too bad though

maybe itll be like what they did with the Hulk. They managed an awesome reboot without an origin story (well a whole one). I ain't as well versed on comics as most here, especially on spidey's shit, but i'm thinkin thisll be a good thing. Raimi did great..... on the first 2. :/

lol shoulda kept quiet. But it is pretty shocking. I gotta admit I thought the only cool thing they could do was a rebooting of some sort. It'll give em a chance to fix that shit that was part 3 while retreading some cool villains and keepin things fresh. hopefully at least @.@ That or (dare I say) clones!

Awesome stuff! This is one of my favorite examples of this kinda stuff, and the best thing to come outta Halo in my opinion and this game is so flippin' fun

eh, well it sorta did. But yea for the most part its mostly a Jason win. Either one coming out on top woulda been fine with me.

That's true. Taking that into consideration makes it seem better. Kinda wish I could see it in 3-D but my eyesight, seriously won't allow it lol. Tried that shit with My Bloody Valentine..... it gave me a headache. or maybe it was just the movie.

Didn't live up to the hype at all. I see ads on tv telling me it'll change the way I look at movies. We don't see that too often and when I see that it should deliver. This was just another cg'ed up movie with too much preachiness added to it. I did enjoy it but if I hadn't seen it in theaters I probably wouldn't have @.@
