Was thinking maybe of getting the jack ass movie on dvd, its really cool, be good for when your pissed with your mates!!! Picked up the Uncut Version of Scarface for €15!!! Also forgot to mention, i have Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail on DVD, now that has some good extras!!

Well my evil dead trilogy is pretty good, i have the first one, which is totally uncut, the second, with pretty poor extras (but it was cheap) and the thrid one, two disc edition, which is pretty damn cool!! Hey SB, know any website (trusted one) where i can actually buy the total special edition alien saga, because the one they retail over here has only aliens special edition!! out of the four!!

On a recent visit to the UK, i got that, Snatch, and the collectors edition of Pulp Fiction in WHSmith, they have a website, that you can buy things off www.whsmith.co.uk i think it is! Not listing all of them, but what you'd recommend personally. I'm on the look out for the Die Hard Trilogy, Alien Saga (Alien1 - 4), Rambo!! Btw the directors cut of Lock Stock is pretty good!! Buffy yeah that'd be good, but i'm looking out for the Simpsons and Family Guy, they'd appeal more to me than buffy.

I was thinking, as my DVD collection is growing i was wondering what you lot thought are good DVD purchases. I have the Godfather Trilogy, LOTR - Fellowship Extended Edition, Blade 1 & 2, Apocalypse Now - Redux, The Matrix (its a must have), Pulp Fiction - Collectors Edition, Spiderman, The Evil Dead Trilogy, Con Air, Traffic, Snatch, Lock Stock the Directors Cut, Terminator 1, Terminator 2 - Ultimate Edition, Gladiator, Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits, and Oasis - There & Then. So what other recommendations are out there........ Oh and Platoon, how could i forget that!!!

Oh right, i never look past the first page. I watched this with my girlfriend, she picked it!! And she was gagging at some places and crying at others, i must admit it was horrific, but what got me was the last scene with the woman in the nut house, tahat gave me goosebumps, mad how the church got away with it for so long!! It predictably got a lot of criticism from the church in general this film, which means its good in my book!!

A couple of words to describe this film, which won the Golden Lion at Last Years Venice Film Festival, and they are, fucking brutal catholic nun witches. Basically its the story of four girls, set in the 1960s in Ireland, when the Catholic church due to the Constitution of the State was more powerful in many respects than law enforcement. An example of this is when Margaret (think thats her name) gets raped by her cousin (No Inbreed Jokes) and then gets carted of to an "Asylum" ran by a sect of nuns called the Magdelene Sisters, and they beat them physically, and mentally abuse of serious scales. Some of the scenes in this film are pretty disturbing, and i would recommend this to any one. Its a great film, made well on a low budget. But according to the surviving characters, the nuns weren't harsh enough! Get this now, and be appaled by the way the church used to manipulate peoples lives, particularly the evolution of Ireland as a nation, hell we only legalized divorce in the 90s! Thankfully it now like that!
