  1. *I'm just glad someone else out there loves Moon Knight as much as I do*
  2. I loved the OG creepshowand i LOVE the fact that King is going back and basically doing a sequel to his story in the movie for this one.
  3. Don't feel like i wasted my time watching it, but I felt a lot of it was re-treading Hereditary and its extremely slow especially when the plot is super spelled out for you. I agree with Axels, this might be a better rental for a lot of people. I compare Aris first two outings against Peeles and I think Peele has a stronger more diverse showing.
  4. If you're looking for anything outside the norm, my three favorite titles this year are: American Carnage (Vertigo)- Collects #1-9. "Richard Wright is a white-passing African-American former FBI agent offered a chance to right the wrongs of his past as his old mentor sends him deep undercover to infiltrate a radical and dangerous white supremacist group believed to be responsible for the death of a fellow agent. For Richard, this is his last shot to turn his life around. With the ghosts of the past constantly reminding him of the man he once was, he will have to not only find the redemption he seeks in the eyes of others, but within himself." - WorldCat - ISBN 9781401291457 - (forthcoming, October 2019) Faithless (possibly NSFW) - https://www.horrordna.com/comics/faithless-1 Die - THE WICKED + THE DIVINE writer KIERON GILLEN teams up with artist supernova STEPHANIE HANS (THE WICKED + THE DIVINE 1831, Journey Into Mystery) for her first ongoing comic! DIE is a pitch-black fantasy where a group of forty-something adults have to deal with the returning unearthly horror they barely survived as teenage role-players. If Kieron’s in a rush, he describes it as “Goth Jumanji.” That only captures a sliver of what you’ll find in oversized debut issue—where fantasy gets all too real. Die is a story basically about the 80s DnD cartoon and how fucked up the reality of what happened in it was.
  5. With the price dropping and it being hackable, i think i might get one now.
  6. i just fucking can't with konami right now.
  7. I'm digging all the new people getting turned on to tabletop thanks to DnD....im just ready for them to want to play something that isn't dnd <.<;; so many good games out there.
  8. Basically the Parasite Eve and FFXV battle system fucked and this is the baby of that. ..not a bad thing TBH. I think if you've never played FF7 this is looking like the game to play - the story will (hopefully) make way more sense and be more focused.
  9. their conference is always a fucking great pallet cleanser, especially after the bethesda shitshow
  10. Yep, this is a must buy for me.
  11. Zdarsky doesn't usually bounce around projects too much, so I could see him staying in for quite a while. Plus the #1 was like a mega seller so I don't think the powers that be will want him off anytime soon.
  12. I loved the 2nd one. Honestly i think the exploration of the supernatural was really cool and would have liked to see more on it.
  13. I'm picking up every issue the day it comes out. Its just been fantastic.
  14. Hell yeah. We just talked about this this past week on the podcast. Its a really cool concept, and if nothing else - itll be an interesting part of video game history.

    Darkwood

I've been thinking about this one for a while, i think your early review has sold me on it
  17. I'm on the Cates hype train now. Dude fucking embraces 90s weirdness. (and he's from texas)
  18. ill admit, i haven't read any of the leadup stuff, but i have been picking this up monthly. Seems like a hell of a ride to get here.
  19. I think peoples big beef with all this is that it was a pacing issue. This seasons been rushed to finalize everything so people feel cheated because so much is happening too quickly. (at the cost of character development)
  20. I'm a huge Zdarsky fan, and honestly...i've never read much daredevil. Zdarsky is making me want to go back and read some of those legendary runs on the character now.
  21. I love the OG game growing up - i'm glad this series is getting some love.
