  1. Yeah, all twelve of them who're too stupid to realize what a horrid photoshop chop-job that is. I actually had considered cutting down the image of the controller and putting the iPod Click-Wheel on it or something along those lines just to add to the satire, but I figured I'd quit while I was ahead.

  3. The Truth About Myspace... I found this through someone on LiveJournal, and thought it was hysterical. EVERYBODY seems hot on MySpace... Here's a breakdown of how to look beyond that extreme angle or photo of someone's goods.
  4. DJ has a MySpace account, and a Friendster, but he doesn't really get into either of those. He's an old school LiveJournaler. I can't say I blame him. I still love my Livejournal. But Myspace is fun too. Myspace is a friending/networking/camwhoring community first, and a journaling community second. Livejournal is, for the most part, the other way 'round.
  5. DJ says he posted pictures of Fergie a while ago, but I think this thread needs more. Ask and ye shall recieve my friends...
  6. I looooove me some Rob Thomas. Have any of you heard his new album? It is SUPERB. I literally can't get it out of my head or stop listening to it.
  7. mmmm... clive owen... Call me crazy but I think this guy is sexxxxxah. Tall, dark, ruggedly handsome, charming, and oooooh that accent. Yum.
  8. You know... Color me mad, but the I think the hottest bit about that Freddy Ljungberg photo is of his tattoo... mmmrowrr!
  9. "I dont know you anymore" - Savage Garden love that song. Well I went to bed in Memphis And I woke up in Hollywood I got a quarter in my pocket And I'd call ya if I could But I don't know why, I gotta fly... I wanna rock and roll this party I just wanna have some fun I wanna leave you feeling breathless Show you how the west was won But I gotta fly, I gotta fly...
  10. Counting Crows - "Murder of One" Just stare into space Picture my face in your hands Live for each second without hesitation And never forget I'm your man Wait on me girl Cry in the night if it helps But more than ever I simply love you More than I love life itself
  11. "Plush" - Stone temple Pilots I'm coming out of my cage And Ive been doing just fine Gotta gotta gotta be down Because I want it all It started out with a kiss How did it end up like this It was only a kiss
  12. Chiefy, that girl looks like she's twelve!
  13. Sorrry y'all, forgot to check up in here... Mine was "Curbside Prophet" by Jason Mraz. One part rock, one part twang, one part blues and a whole lot of rhythm. Good shit if you ever hear it. Jax, dunno your song this time, sorry dude :-\
  14. If you boys (and grrls) are into cars AND women, I have got the hook-up. My buddy Brett sent me this link this morning and all i can say is.... huzzah! Here's a sampling from the thread, found here And the beautiful thing about all of this? There's just PAAAAAAAAAAAGES of women just like this! *wipes away a tear* ... it's just beautiful, man. ...I've never wanted to be a photographer or a driver (or a car for that matter) in all my life!
  15. Hell yes! I effin' LOVED this show. Admittedly the number one reason was because Adrian Paul was hotttttt with that long hair. But the rest of the show kept me entertained and thus kept me tuning in every week. The fights were well choreographed, the sets and scenery were always original and well-placed and appropriate, the story lines were interesting, the characters were fun, and the backing tracks and music were usually pretty fitting. I remember early on in the series, Season 2/3-ish, Duncan's girl Tessa dies and the mourning scenes that followed were backed by "Dust In The Wind" by Kansas. That was fuckin' cool. And yes, having Queen's "Princes Of The Universe" as the opening track definitely bumped the entire show up a few points.
  16. Aeroplane - RHCP y'all may not know this one, but I love this guy, so I'mma give it a go. Y'see it started way back in N-Y-C When I stole my first rhyme from the M-I-C At a west-end avenue at 63 It's the beginnin' of a leap-year, February '96 When a guitar picked up in the mix I committed to the licks, I'm like a nickel-bag of tricks and well, Look at me now!
  17. Yeah, it's a great song but it can be kinda hard to pick out, for one because it didn't get the same kind of air play as some of the band's other songs (which disappoints me somewhat), also because the rhythm of the song and the way the vocalist sings, distorts the lyrics some, and then the title of the song isn't mentioned within the lyrics themselves. I hope someone gets it though, and if not, you all should go acquire this song and listen to it because it's great.
  18. Maroon 5 - Shiver I swear I recognize your breath Memories like fingerprints are slowly raising Me, you wouldn't recall, for I'm not my former It's hard when you're stuck upon the shelf
  19. Paradise By Dashboard Light - Meatloaf It's a matter of instinct, it's a matter of conditioning, it's a matter of fact. You can call me Pavlov's dog. Ring a bell and I'll salivate. How'd you like that?
  20. 3EB - "Semi-Charmed Life" "Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you She tied you to a kitchen chair She broke your crown, she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew the Hallelujah..."
  21. "Keep 'em Separated" - Offspring Breathing is the hardest thing to do With all I've said, and all that's dead to you - You lied, good-bye.
  22. Actually it's "Hello" by Evanescence. I'm walking down the line that divides me somewhere in my mind on the borderline of the edge here where I walk alone
  23. Plainly put, with his school schedule the way it is, and his meager response to the comic after three years, DJ's losing his taste for doing DTL. He's had other projects put on the back burner for a long time because DTL seemed to be doing good there for a while. But when this school year started, the homework projects picked up, suddenly doing a thrice-weekly comic, in color no less, started to lose its flavor. Even doing it once a week became an idea he wasn't fond of. Frankly I don't know what the future of DTL holds. I'll let DJ come up here and talk about what he sees after he goes out and votes...which the rest of you should do, too.
  24. I was absolutely devastated this morning when I heard the news. I hadn't listened to the radio on the drive into work, and was informed by my co-worker, Jean, when I got into the office. I stood there in the middle of the office in total and utter shock. After all of the fighting he did for his own life and to preserve the lives of others, to pass away so suddenly and with so much left to do in this world, it just floors me. The man was a true hero, and I hope that his fight continues, and that people in his situation may one day be able to fulfill his dream. I'm by no means a woman of by-the-Book religious influence but tonight I will pray for his family as they're grieving his loss, and lift them up to God so that they may know and be surrounded by His love and peace, and know that Christopher walks with the Angels tonight.
  25. I am... Here's my link. Totally yawn-worthy LOL
