i never said it was.... these aren't racin' cars, these are street racin' cars. a car that had all of that shit has slicks, no interior, roll cage, and all that other crap makes the car lighter, and faster, and also not street legal. no doubt that those cars would kick the shit out of a street car, because their meant to... and that is why the are dubbed illegal to drive elsewhere. i may have never watched autocrossing videos but i have watched offroad racing and that is some hardcore shit right there with professional drivers, driving like crazy. your beatin' my balls chief...

i didn't say he was the best... i was just simply agreeing that the public can't seem to get past his image and i do think he does have talent... although there are obviously more people who surpass him. i don't really consider reznor freakish though...

lucky english folks :P ... dashboard overkill in the us we have little 12 year-old girls running around saying "im emo im emo, i love dashboard confessional... :ill: yeah it is sort of like the kiss of death to be labeled it, but most of the underground scene, is where you'll find the good shit. the only stuff that gets boring is the stuff on mainstream play, but they will eventually fade away due to the fact that, like all trends, it has to end sometime (just hopefully soon).

its more like a mixture between hardcore and emo... a more mainstream example would be poison the well, cursive or thursday

most of the "emo" bands that have come out mainstream really are just as bad as pop, i'd have to agree with you on that one... but what im referring to are the bands who have been around before all of this commercialized shit emerged and totally bastardized the whole scene. and honestly, authentic and genuine emo/screamo isn't even like that, so im not quite sure as to where you got the idea that all they talk about is how sensitive they are, and how some chick left them... prolly some over played dashboard shit. most people share the view that emo is pretty darn corny now because of the crap that is being passed off as emo, seems as if anything can fit into that category now. this was just some little trend, that people thought 'cool', that caught on and brought along with it some generic people trying to make a pretty penny. eventually all this crap will go under some rock and die, but until then, there will be crap that is labeled as 'emo' but really is just shit wrapped in pretty wrapping paper. this also is kinda like how the whole 'punk' thing emerged to be cool and how everyone started to think they were punk because they listened to good charlotte and because some dumb ass told them it was punk. theres always gonna be dumbasses that ruin it for everyone else.

*let it be known, i got into yet another accident today... ??? ... accident count stands at 3...* it seems as if everytime i try to do something good, i get screwed over. i mean last week leah and i were volunteering for this ESL thingy and i got a ticket... the stupid cop was a bitch. then today, we go in to do some volunteer time and it's cancelled, and i back up into a car in the parking lot. i sure get into a shitload of accidents for being a damn good driver. at least my car's not fucked... i mean it could be worse. the lady was cool about it and just let it go, just a spot i gotta get fixed where the paint came off... oh well, happy it wasn't bad. is this a sign for me to stop trying to be nice?

just out of curiousity, what kind of bands do you consider emo.... just trying to find the logic in this all...
