  1. i just noticed that eminem is on that list up there... i kinda like the guy. anyone has reasoning as to why he's one to be muzzled?
  2. before i saw this movie, leah was like come on this movie is really cute. i was like umm... yeah... too bad when she showed it to my friend maria and me we instantly fell in love with it. it's so cute and makes you realize that it's all the small things that make life so great.
  3. my friend and i tried watching the extras for the LOTR but we got bored so we just watched the movie again. maybe it's because we have short attention spans and could really care less for how they made the costumes and blah blah blah but it's not really all that interesting. the only part of the dvd extras that i enjoy watching are the out-takes or deleted scenes because some of them tend to be quite funny and entertaining. more so than the type of fabric that they used for the hobbits costume.

  7. all my friends working and im at home ??? . so sad, i guess i'll have to clean my room and do all the other things i never got the chance to do. or just simply made excuses not to.
  8. why was that so amusing, in a very odd way... i thought it was entertaining.
  9. leah and i had lunch today and it was a buncha fun, in between the sublime singing sessions and looking for the beatles marathon station. but anyways we were making ourselves all sad thinking about how we are all gonna be off and gone within a few months, with her in frisco, and me in socal. so sad so sad... poor maria. ???
  10. well if you put it that way i'd have to agree with you, even though i consider 'matured sound' you consider 'lazy.' i mean when listening to aqueous transmission how can you not applaud their ability to extend into new musical genres? no band has yet done that with their music. they may have lost that edgieness but they are nonetheless still expanding and experimenting into different genres.
  11. random chick- im so emo im so emo... me- shut the fuck up random chick- what? me- shut the fuck up! random chick- oh
  12. "he's so my bitch and doesn't even know it..." scotts cousin is hot
  13. yeah i'd have to agree with you in saying that science was an intense album, but then again they were a bunch of 18 year olds having fun and playing fun music. i mean my favorite song from them is a certain shade of green off of science but you can see the growth as musicians from that album to morning view. even though morning view may appear to be 'watered down' i would stand by it and say that it is just as intense as science just on a new level. their talent musically as well as songwriting capabilities continually are expanding and to me they ventured into new territory with morning view and this shows a more matured and grown up style of incubus i can't help but enjoy. i really don't think they were trying to appease any mainstream audience because honestly no one had their sound at the time. i mean sure now bands have their sound but that's just what usually happens when something good works.
  14. im in class supposed to be watching a movie but i just waltzed onto a comp and am typing away, this has to say something about the public school system.
  15. artist i most wanna fuck in 2003? that honor would have to go to branden... or quin... that would be a great thread... or has it already been done? then again that wouldn't be the best idea, too many horny people on a message board is not a good thing.
  16. reaffirms everything i thought to be true...
  17. oh boy is my body clock fucked. its about 140am here in cali and i should be sleeping but my ass is here posting on dd.... i wonder why im always so tired during the day. let me think about that one for a long long time...
  18. i just got done cleaning and detailing my car and it feels great. my poor car was in dire need of a wash and shine up. it looks so great when it's all nice and shit. i even cleaned my dashboard and everything else black inside so now my black interior is off the hook! i also cleaned up my rims and shit as well as made my windows clear as hell with this new stuff. yes i will be cruisin' in my new pimped out ride lookin' smooth as hell this weekend... and you know this, mayn!
  19. yes that would certainly get us the media attention, though not the right type... LoL... we'd all be potrayed as some kind of psychos. then again it wouldn't divert much from the truth. vacaville is home to nothing... kinda sucky... we're surrounded by things of importance, but yet we have none of our own. ooo... the pony express went through vacaville... but thats boring. ??? hey how many peole can say that their town lies on a plate? then again it's not something anyone would want anyways.... damn californian earthquakes.

  21. "leave me... lying here... cause i don't wanna go...." dude... leah, veruca salt soo kicks ass!
  22. well i've read the first 3, and haven't really touched the fourth one. maybe the stories may get a little more detailed and go deeper, but it's in no way comprable to LTR. but like you said their not exactly on the same playing field anyways. yes the books are extremley long, but they are written at a very low reading level and can be easily finished within a day. then again anything that encourages children to read is always a plus, i just would encourage reading something of more... emm... literary merit if you want. something that would broaden their knowledge of human nature or vocabulary at least. but i guess that is the whole point of commercial fiction is for entertainment purposes so i will stop harping on this now futile subject.
  23. no the place that they performed was the same hole in the wall that they had been performing at for years before they became famous. this is the type of place where you pay at the door and if no one is at the door you just sneak right in... but nooo... they had to go ahead and sell them ahead of time and just basically trashed everything about local concerts. on top of that they don't even claim vacaville as their hometown... in all interviews they say sacramento because everyone knows where that is... quite the shady thing
