Starting a new FantasyCraft game in the next couple weeks. Will let you know how it goes. I started reading the book in prep for the game, and they have made some interesting changes. Also, trees are a standard race. No level adjustment, as they have done away with such completely.

I really enjoyed KotOR and KotOR II. The first game had a bit more on the story side, but the second had an evolved items and powers system, more interesting combat, and IMO better characters. The second game is a little shorter, but very pretty. And if you slogged through the d20 retardedness of the first game, the second is built on the ruins of the first, but with shinier buttons. Personally, I like 2 better.

Haven't read them all the way through, but most of my local DMs swear by them. I'd say its worth a download, just to see.

Unearthed Arcana had some, and FantasyCraft is a modular d20 game that has alternate crafting rules. Both are easily obtainable as PDFs.
