The NZA Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 ...so, what are your favorite game over screens? i liked the old 80s arcade ones where your character was tied to dynamite or something, and you were clearly letting them die if you held off on the quarters. i think the meanest one has to be Trauma Center, where the epilogue basically says, despite having healed the mortally wounded & all kinds of crazy shit, it was later revealed you should never have been a doctor at all or something. harsh! And I think the Super Mario Bros. kill sound will haunt me for the rest of my life. Also, I hated the kill sound effect from KUNG-FU almost as much as the one where you're walking.
