The NZA
Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition $79.99 Premium metal case featuring male and female Commander Shepard 70-page hardbound art book Limited edition Mass Effect comic by Dark Horse Comics Fabric N7 patch. Exclusive 4x6 lithographic print of the SR-2 Alliance Normandy Additional in-game content including N7 Arsenal Pack - Bring the firepower with the N7 Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, SMG, and Pistol. Squad alternate appearance pack Robotic Dog for on board the Normandy Mass Effect 3 digital soundtrack. bioware: "Ashley, Kaidan, and Liara were meant to be love interests throughout all three parts of the trilogy. After taking them away from players in Mass Effect 2, they were ready for a passionate return in Mass Effect 3. For Ashley's appearance in the series, we let her hair down and gave her sex appeal, while keeping her in a uniform that introduced the new Alliance colors. Ashley first bumps into Shepard as an Alliance officer on Earth, so her iconic look is a stylish officer's uniform, but later she will don a full set of armor." if this thing is Origin-only, i'ma burn down EA. The NZA
yup 1) Will Origin be a requirement to play all versions of Mass Effect 3? (Digital and/or from a retail brick and mortar store) Yes, Origin is required for all PC editions of Mass Effect 3, physical or digital. 2) Is constant Origin connection required or is it a single one off authentication when the game is first installed. Is there also a limit to the number of installations available? Mass Effect 3 will require a one time, single authorization for the single player game. There is no limit to the number of installs. Playing Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer will require a constant connection. 3) Is Origin required for the retail versions of the game? Origin is required for the PC versions of Mass Effect 3, both physical and digital. 4) Will ME3 be available on Steam? During initial release Mass Effect 3 will be available on Origin and a number of other 3rd party digital retailers, but not on Steam at this time. Steam has adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content. We are intent on providing Mass Effect to players with the best possible experience no matter where they purchase or play their game, and are happy to partner with any download service that does not restrict our ability to connect directly with our consumers. Thelogan
Steam has adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content. I read: Steam is trying not to let us bother you too much. Console holmes. It's the only logical answer.

Mortiis558
There is an email going out to retailers telling them to tell people to keep their ME3 saves, because there will be more! Apparently 3 is just the begining of the "real" story. In other news, Fuck Origin! It will fall by the wayside when they realize NO one is buying their games and everyone is still pirating them. Or maybe they will find an even more intrusive and user-unfriendly way to make sure you will pirate even more, then they can bitch and get sympathy while alienating their fans even more. Mortiis558
Same, unfortunately my wife has to go all mental and shit and get sent out to Arizona so I will be gone the week of release =( My CE is already paid for too!!! I want it now! Logan why can't you work at BB still and put out early copies again??
Thelogan
God, that was a sweet gig.
Mortiis558
Also BB should advertise the fact that they carry most games to rent the same day as release. So instead of paying over $120 yesterday for Syndicate and Asura's Wrath, it cost me about 5 bucks to rent them both.

Mortiis558
Just had to say ME 3 is AWESOME!!! If I get to go to the Quarian Fleet I will be able to die a happy man. BYEBYE back to the game.

Mortiis558
Seriously, best game ever! It has all the right elements, not too much of any one, not too little, it's just perfection in video game form. The choices aren't clear anymore either. Send in the Krogan squad to die, and they just might come out alive anyways, Choose the Geth over the Quarians and...well no spoilers yet. About 25 hours in, not even close to finishing. Can't say enough about this game!
Mortiis558
I just wanted to add, I spent the past 2 games romancing Tali, just so I could see their face without the body suits on, and when I finally got her in bed, it cuts away as she is removing her mask, and in ME3 she takes her mask off again after you (BIG BIG SPOILER DONT READ IF YOU ARE PLAYING) Kill the Geth and get back the Quarian home world But she has her back to the camera the whole time!! I am gonna be pissed if they don't show any Quarians without masks on! Edited March 9, 2012 by Mortiis558

Mortiis558
So has anyone else beaten ME 3 yet? I would like to discuss the differences between games without having to play through all three games again. Just basically what choices you made and how they affected the game.
