Donatella Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I would love to play Quidditch! Also I have a flyer somewhere for a spot in Miami where you can play bubble soccer and I think we should get a group together sometime and check that out. Quote

FireDownBelow Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 That second to last one...arm wrestling boxing or something? That used to be a thing in knife fights. Opponents would be tied together by one arm. Also I would totally watch unicycle football. But really is any of this stuff crazier than water polo? Quote
Iambaytor Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 It's a cool concept but the armor makes them kind of sluggish and I imagine it's difficult to see. Quote
FireDownBelow Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 A cool concept? Have you been sword fighting then? That's brutal and a really good way to die, even if that shit is blunted. Quote
Iambaytor Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 You mean the things we've been killing people with for centuries are dangerous?! I like the idea of full-contact fighting with weapons in armor, but they need to tweak things because those guys clearly were having trouble doing more than whacking each other in a slow, if expert, manner. FireDownBelow Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Oh, don't be a smart ass, you know that's exactly the point I'm making, turning warfare into a sport seems foolhardy to the extreme. Quote
Drifter Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) all sports are based on warfare, all PvP video games too. 5:50 Mark has the perfect line Edited February 16, 2017 by Drifter Quote
