MyLeakyBucket
Went for Raiders, Crusade then Temple of Doom. Raiders is the definite best (i like the slimy nazi), Crusade has Connery and Temple just ain't that great.
Reverend Jax
I'm torn. I'm pretty sure Raiders is the best one, but it's been a long time since I've seen it, and I've only seen it once. I can't remember to much about it, and I'm not sure if I think it's my favorite because I think so or becasue that's what I always hear. I'm seen Temple a few times and Last Crusade about 100 times. I have to say Last Crusade is better than Temple, though I did like Shorty alot (Doctor Jones!). I might have to see Raiders again before I can be sure. Silent Bob
I think Raiders and Last Crusade are equally great movies. But I think Sean Connery made Last Crusade slightly more enjoyable than Raiders (which is saying a lot). For the record, though, the opening to Raiders is better than pretty much any other opening in movie history.
Spongebob
Raiders was the best by far...... But I think Temple of Doom the Crusades......... Â I like Connery and all "Spock" but I still like the temple of doom with that little bratty ass child that ran around with a voodoo doll.... JunkerSeed
I went for Raiders, Crusade, then Temple. They're pretty firm, didn't take much thought. And Temple of Doom isn't bad at all, it's just like, Raiders and Crusade seem like big, important stories, and Temple of Doom is more like "here's an example of one of the adventures that Indy goes on all the time!" Fine movie tho.
MyLeakyBucket
I totally agree with Silent Bob about Raiders opening. From the 'poison darts in the jungle' to the 'grabbing of the hat from underneath the closing door', its brilliant
Spongebob
Why can't he just buy another hat??? He got the money...... Why risk losing his life for a hat????
Reverend Jax
Cause he's just like that. That's WHY it's funny. Besides, we learn at the beginning of Last Crusade that is has sentimental value. He got it when he was River Pheonix. I would hold on to anything I recieved if I was ever River Pheonix. defgoddess
i saw this thread and i was like  yes. i love indiana jones.  this was really tough, because i like them all for different reasons. raiders is really good, the beginning is great, the ending is great (a couple of them...) i like that nazi guy frying, and the snakes in the tomb, etc... the last crusade is also great, i saw it for the first time driving down to disneyland with my friend who had a tv in the car... it was a small one, but damn i fell in love with river phoenix then i found out he died... and i still loved him! lol... but yeah, the rest of it is still really good. i do like temple of doom, as a sort of prequel it gets pushed aside a bit... but i still really like it, i'm also a fan of the eh, palace slave scene :approve:   ps it's all about the hat! :plain: jeez. haha
Reverend Jax
i saw this thread and i was like Glad to be of service. I would have made a Back To The Future Trilogy poll, but who's going to vote for anything besides I, then II, then III?
Ganny McVagflaps
Ah there is some heads who rate 2 above 1....not me though. I have your car towed all the way to your house and all you've got for me is light beer?
Reverend Jax
"My insurance? Your insurance should pay for it. I wanna know who's gonna pay for this: I spilled beer all over my shirt when I crashed!" Biff was one of the best characters ever written. "That's about as stupid as a screen door on a tank!" Silent Bob
Biff: So why don't you make like a tree...and get outta here. Older Biff: It's "Leave!" Make like a tree and leave, you sound like an asshole when you say it wrong!
Spongebob
i love indiana jones. If you love it so much why don't you marry it...... :plain:
Reverend Jax
Well, maybe she will. Maybe she'll marry Indiana Jones and you'll die old and lonely and deserve it!
Spongebob
What does her marrying Indy have to do with me marrying???

Reverend Jax
You need Spongebob stones. Watching spongebob has the same effects on your mind as pot. It makes you dumb while you're watching it, making you laugh at the stupidest thing, and if you watch it too much, you get burned out and you become permanently retarded. Tard. Spongebob
Listening to Jax talk has the same effect. But when it is all over you learn and get more outta watching spongebob.
Reverend Jax
As far as you're concerned, listenign to me talk is like light shining through the inpenitrable fog that is your ignorance, only you close your eyes as tightly as you can.
