Silent Bob Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 dunno if that answered yer question sibob. The first sentence did, Fantasia was the first feature-length stereo film. Toss a question up there, Sig.
ChristyandJake Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Transformers was his last performance. Welles died during production in 1985. He did Someone to Love first even though it was released later. OH okay, that makes sense
Signal08 Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 ok, but I didnt know if that was considered an actual performance if he died during it...as in not complete. But I guess if the film was released then it would be, just didnt look at it right. ok question In the flicker A Few Good Men, Lt. Caffey (Tom Cruise) was working a plea bargain with Lt. Dave Spradling (Matt Craven) over a case. What was his client accused of? 2 hints: This is a case before the Louden and Downey murder trial. This plea bargain was discussed during softball practice. and on a side discussion... does anyone else besides me think Craven is a pretty good actor? I'd like to see him in something big as a leading role.

What actor was originally signed on to play the role of Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy?
ChristyandJake Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Stuart Townsend----glad they didnt go with him Who's picture does Silent Bob's head crash through in Mallrats?
Silent Bob Posted May 12, 2005 Author Posted May 12, 2005 Jason Lee's wife, wasn't it? Ex-wife, now. I think her name was...Carmen? Also the hot girl that Joey Lauren Adams made out with in Chasing Amy. Mmm. That was a shared moment. What tough-guy actor's birthname is Mark Vincent?
ChristyandJake Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 Vin Deisel Another Easy one for Silent Bob: What was the name of the sequel discussed while making Mallrats?
Silent Bob Posted May 13, 2005 Author Posted May 13, 2005 You mean the discussed Mallrats sequel? Mallrats 2: Die Hard in a Mall. I hear Kevin Smith still wants to make a comic out of it someday. Is that what you meant?
ChristyandJake Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 yes that's it. I probably should have worded the question better, I'm sorry. You're up, I probably shouldnt ask Kevin Smith questions, you're like Jake, you know everything about him.
Silent Bob Posted May 13, 2005 Author Posted May 13, 2005 Pretty much. But at risk of this becoming a View Askew trivia thread, I'll toss up one more Mallrats one before we hopefully move on. Whose face is on Brodie Bruce's tshirt?
ChristyandJake Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 It is the merged faces of three actors that tried out for Brodie's character, they couldnt get the rights to the shirt that inspired it. In the movie Ed Wood, what movie are Johnny Depp and Martin Landau watching on Halloween night?
ChristyandJake Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 White Zombie.......you can go ahead and ask the next question. I thought someone would get it. :(
Ganny McVagflaps Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 White Zombie.......you can go ahead and ask the next question. I thought someone would get it. :( I only saw it now... Okay, in production this flick was knows as.. "XXXXXX-XXX: No More", "XXXXXX-XXX X Lives" and "XXXXXX-XXX: Unmasked".
Silent Bob Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 Has to be Spider-man 2. The "No More" is telling. Ghostbusters was originally written as a vehicle for what comedic team?
Ganny McVagflaps Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Ghostbusters was originally written as a vehicle for what comedic team? Ackroyd and Belushi Besides "The Quick and the Dead" what viechel features in all Sam Raimi flicks?
Reverend Jax Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 What 1939 films was banned in facist European nations because they believe it showed democracy in a positive light, yet at the same time brutally attacked my Washington politicans and the Washington press because they believed it showed Washington as corrupt?
Silent Bob Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 Damn, Jax, wait your turn. 2T, that would be Raimi's trademark car "The Classic", a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88. I swear, he could found some way to sneak it into The Quick and the Dead. No one would have cared. And Jax, yours is Mr Smith Goes to Washington. What line of dialogue is spoken in all six (I'm assuming) Star Wars films?
Reverend Jax Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 May the Force be with you. And probably "Noooooooo!", but that's just a guess. Before Star Wars became the highest grossing film of all time in 1977, what was the highest grossing film of all time, and for how long did it hold the title before Star Wars dethroned it. (We're talking straight up dollars, not dollars adjusted for inflation).
Silent Bob Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 Nope, I don't recall a "May the Force be with you" in Empire, or a "Noooo" in Jedi. My guess on yours is Jaws, and it would've held the top spot for 2 years before Star Wars. Either way, mine's still up: Only line of dialogue to be spoken in all six Star Wars films. Has seven words in it.
Silent Bob Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 Nope and nope, you're getting close though, Jax
