Paradigm Shift is what sold me. Prior to that, combat consisted solely of me pressing X every few seconds, and wondering why.

By now, many of you might have heard about Growning Pain's loveable "Boner", child star Andrew Koenig, being found dead in Vancouver. Christ guys, Square Enix knows what the fuck they are doing. I don't care what anybody says, there has never been a bad final fantasy. Sure, some had annoying or terrible elements (I'm looking at you Junction system!) but there's not a one that I would label bad. Hell, square, and now square enix, have had the balls to reinvent the wheel which each iteration. Sure all FF have common themes and elements, but what other series can you bring up that is a completely different beast each time we see it. Fact is, we are now at a time where most, if not all of these companies are ONE flop from bankruptcy. I can't begrudge them for porting FFXIII to Xbox, or for 'mainstreaming' the game a bit. I'm not particularly happy about it, but that is the reality of the industry today. Take Mass Effect. They GUTTED it to make it appealing to a wider audience, and you know what, it worked. All I'm saying is for a series that changes it's face so often, I don't see what all the fuss is about for this particular iteration.

Fuck. Jay. Leno. I hope he dies of Gonorrhea. Used to perfer Jay to Letterman, but the way this whole situation has been handled by NBC and Leno is just beyond the pale. Leno's manged to handle this whole situation without even the slightest semblance of class, like some petulant little child. It was the prime time abortion called the Jay Leno Show that lead to this clusterfuck. THAT was the ratings blackhole that was killing every show around it. I hope the ratings for the tonight show drop into the toilet post-Conan. I know I'll never tune in after this.

I have the PERFECT idea to appease both parties via a "Star Trek-ese", in canon reboot... BRAND NEW DAY the MOVIE!! Have Peter make a deal with Mephisto to undo the last three movies....with MAGIC!

I remember thinking, in the months leading up to it's release, that Avatar didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of even making it's money back domestically, let alone take the top spot from Titanic (which it would pretty much have to do to clear it's budget). After seeing the film, I was even more convinced it wouldn't be able to accomplish this herculian feat. Now, it's not that I didn't like Avatar (I actually walked away enjoying it on some level), it's that Sci-Fi typically doesn't play well. It's just a fact. When you are dealing with a Sci-Fi film, right out the gate you are dealing with a reduced potential audience pool. I think Avatar owes it's sucess almost entirely to the "spectacle" of the film. That's the way it was billed, and that's the consensus of the word of mouth. Admittedly that is how I have described the film to everyone who's asked. Avatar's sucess will lead to more Sci-Fi projects getting the greenlight, which is great in my opinion. However, it's going to feed Cameron's ego to no end, bad. And it will add to the film as spectacle trend, bad.

Yes!!!! I've had my eyes on that wallet for some time now.... I pretty much have been playing on lvl one this whole time. My drop bonus is 28 or 29 right now. Been playing on hard too since the option opened, but as the name implys it is getting hard so I'm moving myself up to lvl 5 or so (don't wanna go crazy, gotta keep that drop rate up!!!) Been stocking up on that funky chinese parasite root shit that cost 80k and raises bravery by 50 once you wolf it down.

So I Have to say the game is really growing on me. I'm in the habit now of equiping pins that don't evolve before I shut it off so I won't miss out on evolving by lvling with shutdown xp (But then, I never have it off long enough to earn significant shutdown xp) I also am debating on whether I should start changing the date on my ds so I don't have to stop grinding after 24 bytes of food. Really loving this little gem. I do need someone to "mingle" with...NZA..*wink,wink*...........And maybe after we can play The World Ends with You! lawl

"wow" is pretty much the only word to describe Antichrist. It has to be all lowercase too, not "Wow" or "WOW" or even "wOW". An acceptable description may also include an ellipsis, either preceding or following, as in "wow..." or "...wow". I saw it about a month ago, and I stilll catch myself staring off into space occasionally, expression blank. Someone will come up and say "Hey Jon, what's up?" to which I reply "Nah, just thinking about some movie I saw, Antichrist...........wow." Last night I watched Pontypool with panch and my brother. It kinda has a "War of the Worlds" with zombies feel. Really plays on the horror of NOT seeing, letting your imagination fill in the blanks. Was absolutely loving it, and I mean LOVING IT, up until the last twenty minutes or so. Got a tad...strange. PS - CHAOS REIGNS!!!!

Funny, I was really looking foward to this one, but I ended up sitting on it for a LONG time. Just finished up Under the knife 2 however and this gem was next in my cue of DS games. Started a couple of weeks ago, and I'm only on Day 4, but I'm loving it so far!

Went to the midnight release. Unfortunatly, I feel this flick really dropped the ball.

Sixaxis jumping is TERRIBLE. I was halfway through before I realized that prince hop was mapped to the shoulder button. Mebbe we could pass the co-ops. Haven't even touched that yet.

So i've finished Forever mode, and Drive mode. Gotta say this game has really reignited my love of katamari. I know it's mostly rehash, but a rehash of one of my favorite titles of last gen. Anybody else jump on this? I know Newtype had it and sold it to Nick for a pittance. Have you even played it yet Nick?
