My last week of holidays has seen me play and finish Silent Hill 1 and COD Black Cops. I got SH 2 on xbox unfortunately it wont run properly on the 360 :( I also got SH homecoming today on 360 it will do until I can dig up my xbox. Slowly making my way through NFS Hot Persuit on 360 even with EA's bullshit its not a bad little game. Counter Strike 1.6's WarCraft 3 mod has had me happily reminiscing about years long gone. VVVVVV is the most addictive platformer I have played in ages. Great puzzles and you can advance through the massive world at your own pace. Im looking forward to Team Fortess 2 and Just Cause 2 when Steam fucking gets around to getting me decent download rates.

Well I start my xmas holidays on friday so I have wicked amounts for free time for gaming. I should be right to play on an American server. I might lag a bit but shouldn't be too bad.

I saw Skyline and well thank god I had free tickets. It was like someone took War of the Wolrds and added a few scenes from Independace Day into it. Yeah I know that sounds like it could be fun, but its just terrible. The acting was ok, although there was some cringe worthy moments when the main character tried to make some one liners. There was some awesome special effects and some really terrible ones too which leads me to wonder why? The ending was the worst bit and made everything really really silly. Go see it if you have money to waste or bandwith to use up. Ummmm..... One and a half fat guys caught in a tractor beam out of 14? Also saw Machete and it was fun, mindless silly gorey fun. With some boob as well. Although it loses marks for not having Jessica Alba naked in it. Plus you'll never think of intestines the same way again. So yeah overall fun!

This is the guide I used. - Spin Dash up and over the quarter pipe, and Spin Dash again taking the lower route. - Follow the hill and loop-de-loops round, progress right until you come to a column with moving blocks. - Get up them and over, going through the booster and through the loops. After the first loop, SAVE YOUR GAME. At the end of the third loop you can jump upward just before / on the quarter pipe to reach a gateway above the path you are supposed to follow. This is quite tough to time right, and I found it helps to hold Up and jump just before the quarter pipe to shoot near vertically up to reach it. If you are confused, check the speed run. Assuming you saved it, keep trying it until you do it. - If you managed it, then Spin Dash up the gradient, past the blue spheres to the Finishing Post. You should finish with in a good 30 second time.
