You know what's weird? I hate country music...like, openly loathe and am hostile to 99 percent of it, but I like Dolly's version better.

I saw an article on Cracked once upon a time that mentioned the Suicide Forest, and I ended up buying the book that I guess inspired people to go into the forest. It...is really, really dark. And then I was left with a conundrum. It's not a book I would give to anyone suffering from thoughts that might tempt them to do something regrettable. Likewise, I didn't want to sell it to Hastings, where a really sad, forlorn teenager might find it and again, do something incredibly awful and spur (or even thought out) of the moment. So it's just sitting in my house, being dark and if I'm being honest, kinda scary, on my bookshelf. I actually have a whole row of books like that, including "Let the Right One In", and to a lesser extent "American Psycho". OK, so...other conversation aside, I originally wanted to find a place I could share recipes and stuff at, so...that's what I'm going to do. Also I wanted to ask some advice about making a cashew chz. http://allrecipes.co...-tortilla-soup/ <---- so, so great. It's already vegan (unless you add the cheese as a topping, which I didn't). Try it out if you have a chance, esp if you have a cold. Ani and I have been eating it for like 2 days now, and I doubt it's something we could get tired of. Ill try and post some pictures later. /edit - I forgot to mention what I did to make it diff. I added a can of black beans, and used limes as a topping per someone else's suggestions in the comments section. Next time I make it though, I'll probably only add 2 cans of the green chilis. It was really spicy, which is great now that it's still kinda winter, but in the summer it will probably be too much. And, my question about the cashew chz: I tried making this the other night, and maybe it's because I used a blender, but it didn't blend and break down like I wanted it to. Is there a way to make that work, that doesn't involve spending a ton of money for a food processor?

No!! Which is really weird, because Im in love with Thom Yorke. I mean I know our love can never be, but still. I can't wait; I'm refusing to listen to anything Radiohead until that night even to further enhance my Radiohead experience.

Gonna go see Grimes in Austin on the 29th. So, so excited. Oh...and who;s going to see Radiohead on the 7th? This girl is. (Who spent a week's paycheck buying a ticket because she didn't order hers in the 8 seconds before they sold out? Yeah.) Also sxsw the week after. There are always a ton of really great free shows going on that week. But I will never pay the ridiculous pass fee to get into the other ones. So expensive :(
