Are we thinkin of the same one? Back in the day, at all those generic reststops when youre headin up north of miami, the arcades had a Superman game, i think it was by Taito. You'd walk around the level & beat up thugs like Final Fight, but some levles you'd fly and shoot your heat vision most of the time. Game was kinda fun 'cause itd alternate the levels a bit..what was the konami one like?

Man, Kee, I dont know what the fuck youre talkin bout. I remember this one time i was watchin a fight on pay-per-view, and in one of the many pre-fights, this one big ol' black guy was wailin the shit outta the other big ol' black guy, then the other guy did some shit where i dont fuckin remember cause my ass fell asleep waitin on the main event. Which wasnt very long, anyway, cause Tyson steps up right, then the other guy suffers a massive coronary on his way in the ring outta fear. Weird thing is, the other guy won by disqualification, cause crazy ass Tyson had to go & whip it out to pee on the dead guy, which was kinda in bad taste now that i think bout it. Then, they went to an interview with Roy Jones Jr in the crowd, and asked him when he'd move up & take on tyson himself, but he said he was first wantin to drop down to bout 115lbs or so to take on a bunch of elderly hobos in that division, for some reason. Then, on his way out the door, Tyson gets sucker punched by Buster Douglas & The Junkyard Dog, who claim they were the new Legion of Doom. Man, that was a great day in boxin. And all for the low, low price of $89.95 a month. I tell you what Kee, you just dont know what youre missin.

Careful with the *SPOILERS* there, alita. I agree - good animation, pace, fair characterization (ok, he was a pervert in one scene, cut him some slack!), but the overall plot, tho a bit of a mindfuck, was really fuckin smart. Granted, it helped to have studied existentialism a bit but even so, its the smartest anime ive seen, tho i havent finished Lain yet. Was also funny tryin to watch the OAV endin with alita, mulan & eyeore...ive never seen subtitles move so damn fast. Think i rewound every couple lines or so.

Ive heardve great catfights, but dammit i always managed to show up when theyre broken up. Both those 2 (Kee & Heartless) sounded cool too, ah well. Wait Heartless, who're "loadies"?

Did ya see IX's endin? I never saw the alternate, but the original was pretty good, i thought....oh, and VI's (SNES III) had a cool one. But i wont defend the others too much, they did kinda fall apart.

Well, Yahven's told me a bit bout Spawn's new powers...he's really, really fuckin inflated since he started. It sounds like he just might be able to win it, but he'd need prep time or background knowledge of Hulk, at least enough to beat him quickly before he becomes unstoppable. It seems Spawn still relies heavily on guns over his magic, which puts him at a major strategic disadvantage. He can't go the distance, but a quick, powerful flurry of all the man's got just might take Hulk down; its been done by less powerful beings, albeit with shit writing.

Eh...thats two different fights, man. I mean, Hal Jordan's the greatest GL of all time an alla that, but he's still basically human, so he'd be hard pressed to fight Thor, i think. Parallax? Aside from takin down the entire JLA once by himself (wanna hear somethin odd? Aquaman once did that too, i hear. Guess everybody has in their own books, huh?), during Zero Hour, the man fucked with the space/time continum. I think Thor's a badass, but i aint too sure he can take down a man who can just warp time back until he finds a way to win, and i dont think that kinda power was beyond Parallax, either. Any particular terms to this fight?

Tyson has a lotta power, but not the heaviest hitter in boxin, i still think Foreman in his prime was harder. Ali'd school him worse than Holyfield was. Dont get me wrong, itd be a helluva fight tho. Jones Jr is light heavyweight these days, he clocked in about 179 last match. Still doesnt have much competition in his division, i really like the guy but damn i wish he'd move up a lil bit soon.
