That's why whenever you see me my hair is always tied back. Mabye I should go and do what my best friend did and cut it really really short. Low maintance. Plus thinks I shed too much. Since I'm the moderator of this forum I think I should make a new topic for every movie I see. Well the latest one was of course 40 Days and 40 Nights. Right off the bat...Guys there's a lot of nudity in this film meaning T&A and mainly just girls too so if you're looking for a reason there you go. :0 The plot wasn't the best but it was cute nonetheless. Girls can drool over Josh Hartnett and questioin why we can't find good looking men to treat us good. I don't recommend it to anyone that's looking for a meaningful movie...but if you are looking for a good laugh then go for it.

To Clarify for Lizi-chan...I don't think you watched the entire ending. There was still stuff after the credits and stuff. And it's all good stuff so go back and rewatch the ending. You'll definetely like it better.

For all of you that didn't go you totally missed an awesome convention. We got to meet Kevin Smith and I was in a loss for words...too giddy I guess. But Nick and Danny got in a good hearty handshake. But you should see their autographs...too funny beyond belief. Anyways his panel was one of the many highlights. He's such a cool guy. Mewes couldn't make it, but still worth the trip and the traffic jam sittin and the stupid stupid rain. We overall made out like bandits coming home broke but not empty handed...exibit A nick's apartment. I'm glad we could also meet Sergio Argones. Think that was another of Nick's highlights. Can't believe I was standing next to the man and didn't recognize him. And finally getting Nick's ultimate spidey #1 autographed by Bendis was pretty cool. The costumes were neat too. My favorite had to be the Lulu lookalike. Man do these people go all out. Well if there are more interesting guests next year...I'll have to make this trip once again. Oh and KEVIN SMITH rocks!

FY is one of the best anime series ever. Given the soap opera antics...deep inside i felt like I was really apart of the whole ordeal. So for those who haven't seen FY yet...your'e missing out. The ending was absolutely perfect so there's nothing to lose.

Alright...Yahve gave me moderator power of this forum so long ago after much protesting. And has been telling me that I got to start doing my job. So here's my attempt to control and cultivate. Being a chick, I've got an affinity towards the romantic comedies. And I know where 's stand with his Westerns. I want to start this topic with a hopeful argument. Tell us why you like/dislike the perverbial romantic comedy? I know the main argument is that they are all the same. But there's been better attempts to change the genre. And lately the happily ever after does not go hand and hand with romantic comedies...it's more like a romantic tragedy. and I were talking about how that if the tragedies really sell. Noone would watch Romeo and Juliet if it wasn't for the tragedy...let alone movies like the one I saw last night (SPOILER) ahemm ....a walk to remember. My question is why is there this need for the tragedy? Are you all that tired of happy endings? or are they just not that memorable? Personally movies like Everafter and Never been Kissed are some of my favorites. But not really that noticeable. I know that what women want was a relly interesting take on the romance genre. A movie that actually caters somewhat to the men. That Frank Sinatra Dance was really cool. So apart from that...that's my chick point of view. Feel free to argue, bitch, support or whatever. I hope this topic doesn't end at the bottom with my other attempts.

I know that I'm gonna get flamed for this later, but Nick encouraged me to go ahead with this topic. I've been watching the winter olympics...yes i know it's gay. Anyways the pairs skating competition on Monday was a huge scandal...and I know that the media probably blew it out of proportion. But I seriously believe that the Canadian pair won the Gold medal because they skated a clean program and the Russians didn't. The guy fell for god's sake. Anyways. What do you think about this judge tampering thing? For all those who don't know...it's been alleged that the french judge was asked to vote for the russian pair over the canadians in exchange for a favorable french vote in the ice dancing competition. So Nick brought up so pressure via the russian mafia and I was wondering if anyone else thinks that this is also possible? Anyways...they IOC didn't necessarily overturn the judges votes....but decided to award a second gold medal to the candian pair. But didn't take the gold away from the russians. So what do you think about that too? The russians are obviously pissed cause there is no precendent for this kind of thing. Alright....time for Mulan to run and hide!!! :approve:
