  1. Didn't watch this one...looked dumb. Original Sin
  2. got one!! Yentil music teacher made me watch it.
  3. Please dont' shoot me... Encino Man
  4. Leaving Las Vegas for Yahve...
  5. Only because I just finished watching it with my sisters... Never Been Kissed.
  6. spoilers... I think the ending was a fitting one. It made the most sense. I didn't catch the MJ figuring out thing til the second time I watched it. Tim caught it and asked me about it. I'm hoping she didn't figure out Peter's identity. Cause in the books she doesn't know till a lot later. I think that change would kind of ruin the story for me. Even being the hopeless romantic that I am....Peter couldn't be with MJ. It goes with the whole theme of the movie. Diehard's half sister freaked out about the ending...but felt better when I explained it to her. Were there any other changes to the story that you liked/disliked? What was your favorite moment?
  7. I was gonna post earlier but I've been really busy. Here's my take. I saw the movie twice on the same day. Don't ask why. But it was still worth the ass load of money to buy the tickets early. Spoilers* I died with the "shazam" comment! I think I was the only one though...no seemed to get it. I was so excited about the movie that I was jumping in line at the theaters. I think I told the whole Ultimate storyline to my sisters so the can get the feel for Peter Parker. Dafoe kicked ass. Hated the mask. But there were scenes where I jumped out of my seat. Wasn't too sure how I felt about the biological webshooters. Being somewhat of a scientist myself, I think it'd only really bother the die hard fans. The fight in school was really cool. Matrix like in a sense. I had a bet going with one of my friends which story arc would this movie come from. He said more or a flashback old arc. And I was going with Ultimate all the way. But I guess it was a mix in the end. Overall I loved the movie. And I already got the soundtrack. Been singing "spiderman, spiderman...does whatever a spider can" all week long. I know...I'm a dork. So shoot me.
  8. Have to get this out before IC posts it... "Bear driving car, How can that be?!"
  9. I think the mass apeal was the rock. If he wasn't in this movie...I don't think there'd be a movie. There were a bunch of girls just squeling over the rock's body shots. If you are look for a bunch of one liners and a just good looking people trying to act, then go watch this movie. I personally don't see what's so great about the rock in the first place. ???
  10. Alright...I was able to catch this flick on opening day mind you in a small theater, so I had to sit up in the front and my neck still hurts. But the comedy was worth the uncomfortableness. Haven't seen Christina Applegate in a movie since Don't tell mom the Babysitter is dead . Great comeback role. This was just a fun chick flick with some great but mostly tasteful vulgar stuff. If you are looking for a movie that will lift your spirits after the hard week of finals, this one's for you. It's got it all, sex appeal and even a purple elephant. There is a reason why cameron diaz is one of the most sexiest actress out there. And this movie just adds to her resume...If you loved There's something about Mary then you'll love this cool new flick.
  11. sorries not stalker like...but I am a fan. BTW still love that episode of ally Mcbeal.
  12. Yeah but this silly :kitty: knows more about silly 's than most people. Plus never underestimate the power of the :kitty: She knows all and sees all especially in the realm of s.
  13. Did you get your wolvy claws ?
  14. Alright...who was the wise guy who told me that I should see this movie??? Cause you all know I'm not big on the horror stuff. Spoilers I had my eyes closed for half the movie and mostly screaming "O my GOD!!" and " Jesus Fuckin...Christ" I hope there weren't any christiany people there. Lots of Pop Up freaky shit. Good action.
  15. I take it that chihiro was around tonight huh?? cause I've never seen a white speak japanese... :p
  16. Mulan

    Pixar

Yeah but you can tell when artisitc is just fooling around...straight out attacking him for no reason while he was retreating warrents immediate retaliation. So beware you tactics...
  17. Mulan

    Pixar

Isa...stop right there...you are taking this way too seriously. artistic was only checking on alita's ability to handle bullshit. It wasn't a personal attack on her. Even she knew that. You are making this a personal attack by going after artistic. So if you don't want any more trouble you'll do best leave him be. There's a line yes...but you crossed it first. So don't be suprised if he comes back and attacks you. :plain:
  18. Yes, Esca did hook me to anime forever. Even now I've seen more anime, I still think it's one of the best series out there. I think we don't like the ending because we're girls. And we tend to want the happy romantic ending. But is right...not all animes/movies/etc. are meant to have the happy ending. In this case, the ending was indeed very fitting. ???
  19. I think the first anime I really watched was Escaflowne. Nick and I watched the entire series nonstop for 2 days. One of the best times of my life.
  20. I caught the sneak preview at FIU. It was how can I say this...seriously dark but really funny. Just the whole smoochness of the movie and Norton wow... don't have the words. Robin Williams plays the insane Raibow Randal...great charater. Who directed this movie? For all you fans you've got to catch this one.
  21. Hello Mojo Jo Jo!!! Welcome aboard. I hope you have fun crusin the forum. There are a lot of interesting reads. Yeah another one bites the dust!
  22. I'm not the patient type so I'm not know to wait for trades come out. I would be an avid collector....hey where did all those comics go??? Could have sworn I bought more than just 3... :sneaky:
  23. Done...Actually watched the entire ceremony and finished my quantum hw at the same time. Whoopi Goldberg kind of laid it heavy with the black jokes. And I think it was the year of affirmative action or something. Halle Berry winning for best actress. Now there was the shockest person there. She burst into tears and gives the longest speech ever. She actually thanked her lawyers for god's sake. Haven't seen Monster's Ball, but the clips the were showing were really cool. Question, was she the first black woman to win a best actress oscar like sydney Poiter? Cause she also thanked almost every black actor/actress out there too. Wow...I was crying for her after the first 4 minutes...but well we've got to move on. I absolutely loved A Beautiful Mind and thought it was 10 times better than LOTR. And it deserved every award it got. Don't know if Washington really deserved that oscar being I haven't seen Training Day. Loved Crowe seriously made me believe he was a true nutso. Connely just stole the screen. I think the segments on Potier and Redford were really moving. Their mini dedication clips were awesome. Didn't know Redford was the one who came up with the Sundance festival...and now I think oh....duh...Lots of great western clips through out the evening. Especially Maginificant Seven. And the Circus du Oli people were really cool. Plus the New Animated oscar (SHREK) segment was really cute with all of the animated characters in their seats. Mosters Inc's won for best score. And best of all that little animated movie before Monsters Inc won for best short animated series. So what do you think of them apples? Enya and Sting sang their prespective scores. Best make up and set design I think went to Moulan Rouge...that musical still gives me the willies. But a lot of people seemed to like it. Oh and woody allen also very freaky. Didn't know that William Hanna died this year along with Jack Lemmon. and the finale...who can resists talking about 9/11? Whoopi waving goodbye (back turned to the audience) NYPD FDNY K-9... Long show...went 45 minutes over. But glad to watch in general. Bring on the mudsligging! :p
  24. So how many of you were waiting in line for this one? I was afraid that it'd be pack opening day, but it wasn't too bad. Then the sound system was kind of on the fritz during the previews and I was like, "this better not mess with the movie" All in all Blade 2 was a bad ass action flick. Snipes is back and cooler than ever. Whistler's back too with a Boondock Saint. My question is I didn't catch the rating on the movie. From what I was hearing there was suppose to be an NC-17 rating. Well there was enough blood for that anyhow. *Spoilers* Ok my opinion time. I really liked this movie...but some of the CG scenes were unbelievable. Blade is facing a new type of villan an enhanced vampire immune to silver and garlic. This new villan is definately gorey to say the least. I was truly disgusted at some points, but hey it wouldn't be a Blade sequal without the gore. So I say bring it on. I can only imagine the comic books. I wonder if it's gory too.
