Aartemys
The first song from Daft Punk that I ever heard/saw was Da Funk on The BOx (anyone remember that cable channel?) The giant dog man with the broken leg was so cool to me... <param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXO7ixWtNfM?fs=1&hl=en_US"> I ended up buying their greatest hits a few years later and still periodically jam to it... Mr. Hakujin
I really dug thehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6Afc2uzw4g"]TRON: Legacy OST,and I also like it when Kanye samples them and chicks w. hot bods and too much time do youtube vids of them. But other than that, I don't have much to say on Daft Punk other than they pioneered my least favorite trend w/ DJs--the gimmicky mask/helmet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsO6ZnUZI0g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnL1xE1WFe0

Aartemys
Oh, I never paid...I just hoped someone would pick the video(s) I wanted to watch...and it actually turned me onto some music that I don't think I would've ever seen had it not been for my cheap-ass waiting for my favorite songs to play... The NZA
haha, im beginning to see why the Box had to close down eventually...i wonder if i know anyone who actually bought a video?
Panch
I'm sure Ariel and Eddie did. They always blew their money on shit like that.
Mr. Hakujin
...hakus - MF DOOM say what up I knew you were gonna go there w/ the Madvillain, that's why I specified DJs and not MCs. As far as I know, MF DOOM is solo dolo mask wearer when it comes to MCs. Let's hope it stays that way.

The NZA
Basically we’re about to get a new album. It’s been leaked by Tsugi magazine that the track ‘Renoma Street’ is coming out on the 21st of July. For the album this song is presumably off, Daft have been collaborating with Panda Bear, Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams and Giorgio Moroder to name a few. So far Daft Punk haven’t revealed anything officially, and others have said they want a press blackout until the album is out. I think (and this is just my opinion) that it has something to do with how Human After All was leaked so early prior to release, and of course that album is so different to anything they did before it, so all their fans said it was fake. That would have sucked for them. But, on the quality of this album, for anyone whose worried they won’t like the new album, to quote Nile Rodgers: “That shit is AMAZING.” As if 21/7 wasn’t news enough, we now have news on a possible live Daft Punk performance.Daft Punk live at Freak Out! Montreux Dance Party, hosted by Nile Rodgers. The party is taking place as part of the Montruex Jazz Festival. Have a look at the official website for the event: http://www.ticketcorner.ch/tickets.html?fun=evdetail&affiliate=MJF&doc=evdetailb&key=741966$2175676 “…2 VERY SPECIAL DJ’S” Hmm..Who could that be referring to? Okay everyone, prepare yourselves. We have a release date for ‘Renoma Street’. Tsugi magazine (the magazine responsible for the leaking of the Renoma Street title and existence,) editor Patrice Bardot tweeted “What are you doing this vacation #renomastreet” To which a Tsugi reader replied “what’s an indication of when it will be released” and Patrice’s reply?: “21/7” There you go. The 21st of July, 2012. After 7 years, we now know when the next Daft Punk studio album is out. At least, some kind of release. Renoma Street may be a single, or a song the same name as the album. http://thedafthouse.tumblr.com/

The NZA
overall, album's enjoyable with more hits than misses for me so far, but it's got nothing on Discovery.
