Iambaytor
I'm sure Miami tap water is probably filled with tourist blood and Margarita salt, but I'm not a big bottled water fan. It tastes too plasticy, I have to be very thirsty.
Keth
I voted the second one cause technically I am ok with tap as long as it's iced, but I definitely prefer bottled. There needs to be a "Water's in soda right?" option for those folks. Edited September 6, 2015 by Axels
Da Cap'n 2099
Yeah, refrigerated tap is what I drink. I'll drink bottled water if I'm out and about.
alive she cried
I'm okay with tap and bottled. I have been drinking more bottles lately though as there's been a weird taste to our tap water.
Da Cap'n 2099
It's weird: in a huge city like Miami, you would think tap water would be undrinkable, but it's surprisingly good. Most other cities in Florida can't say that.
FireDownBelow
Tap water all the way. I'm all about the flouride, yo. Also, that shit is cheaper than bottled. And I rarely ice it. I do not care about ice in any of my drinks and I will even drink warm soda and warm beer. I admit, I will buy bottled water when I'm out though. I'm thirsty and its a lot more handy than trying to dearh out a bathroom or a water fountain, though I've been known to do that in my poor ass cracker days. Keth
So I had this big ozarka jug that was empty and I thought "I'll fill that shit with tap since I'll have to start saving $$$ anyway". I did, and put it in the fridge. Took it o work one day and the shit smelled like fucking chlorine. Just like goddamn pool water. I never did like how our apartment's tap tasted, but now I know I don't feel comfortable using it for anything.
FireDownBelow
Well....if it smells like chlorine, then there's prolly too much in it. You might call up the Bedford water depatment and mention that. Otherwise, a little chlorine doesn't really hurt you. It's a fairly common agent for keeping water clean. Iodine can be used as well. Handy fact if you ever need to drink from a mud puddle, I guess.
Iambaytor
Pro-tip: pour a bottle of iodine and a jug of bleach in a mud puddle, then it will be safe to drink. If there's a dead animal in it use two jugs, continue adding jugs of bleach for additional dead animals.
