A: SUPER METROID

(Really people, I am getting sick of all you guys bitching about my anagram questions! They are there to make you think and to challenge your brains, and there are websites that allow you to rearrange anagrams to find words if you know where to look!)

--

Results for Round 9:

Division of Joy = 7 points (+1 submission) (x2 bonus) = 15 points

Bishopcruz = 10 points

Don't count yourselves out or in just yet. There's tons of points to be had on Round 10, as it will be the final round of this challenge. It may be sometime before I post the questions as the format will be slightly different in the point system for the final round. I'll keep you posted on how this will be done before I post the questions. Good luck all of you!

And they are relatively useless. I used several, and the word SUPER, never even came up, there were too many possibilities. Making an anagram out of a game is not that difficult, figuring one out when there are very limited and several hundred possible answers. Not to mention that without even a number of words you have nearly limitless options. Not to mention NO one solved the last one, and DoJ solved this one because he submitted it. I mean they are your questions, and it's your game, I just friggen HATE anagrams.

It depends, seems like not as many people are competing lately, so I see a sudden boost in participation, then maybe I might extend it a few more rounds, but it's all wait and see. Mainly I want to resume the Crap Shack Trivia Challenge, and it's hard to manage 2 challenges at the same time, but if I see a renewed support, then I may extend it.

I was thinking acalis, if you want to let it go for a bit, I could take over the next round. I've had a bunch of ideas for questions lately. Let me know.

Hmmmm, well if you're willing to help me out, I guess I could start up Nintendorks Trivia Challenge Deluxe as well, and you can administer the questions from time to time if you like. I really had my heart set on resuming the Crap Shack Challenge, because there I can come up with all sorts of questions, and I won't have to confine them to just video-game-related material (which believe me, it is hard to find without going back to the same games and all). So if you wanna help me out there, then sure! The only drawback is you won't be able to participate in competing though. It's only fair, if that wasn't the case, then heck I'D be the winner! :cheers:

Kick ass. I hope Cheaty McGee doesn't fuck that one up as well.
I seriously doubt it. One thing I forgot to mention is I am gonna be implementing a different kind of point system this time around, which would make it so if you get questions wrong, you would LOSE points! This would make it more challenging to stay in the lead, and hopefully would encourage more people to participate without having to worry about having to catch up to the top scorer who is 100 points ahead or so!

Man, I was really enjoying this quiz until it got Doj'd.

Had you stuck around, you probably could've won. Look how far ahead DoJ was, and then look what happened with Round 10 and Bishopcruz coming from behind and winning. :pinch:
