Introducing HondoShare, your #1 source for saving space on Hondo's.

 

I've set up an upload service on my own server for Pictures, Music, Whatever is needed (I'll add more if need be). Basically, you just go here, upload your file (Up to 100mb) and post in hondos using the link it gives you.

 

No burden, no fuss, etc.

Nick, I've counted and recounted...

 

153 items - 26,857 kb....so about 0.09% of the total space on my server.

 

It has used

 

385.1719 MB of bandwidth...or about 0.06% of the bandwidth I have each month

 

 

IT SHALL CONTINUE LIKE THIS!

The results are in:

 

In 2008, hondoshare served up 170,291 images, for a grand total of 15.57 gigabytes of data.

HondoShare is currently hosting 101.21 megabytes of images and other media as of Jan. 12, 2009.

 

I'll update this post when there's more available. Keep up the good work!

nice. still no .bmps or .cbrs? i tried some huge .rars but mebbe its my connection, i had no idea if they were going through so id wait a bit & end up cancelling, prolly for the better. i told you though, like 3/4 of those images are mine, heh.

Added support for:

 

.bmp, .cbr, .ai, .psd, .avi, .mov, .ogg, .html, .php

 

It is now theoretically possible to host an entire site using hondoshare.

Added support for the following file types:

 

.7z, .ace, .jar, .tar, .tgz, .ISO, .txt, .doc, .odm, .odt, .ott, .rtf, .ttf, .ico, .raw, .tif, .tiff, .eps, .svg, .exe, .flac, .au, .m4a, .ape, .wma

 

You can now share ISO files up to 2gb in size. Be careful with that one.
