Watched Tron (in 3D meh. not impressed) and The men Who Stare at Goats. So I also had Jeff Bridges week. All I could think of while watching him in Tron, was "dude, the dude is in 3D". Going to watch True Grit tomorrow to end my week with The Dude.

I'm hoping that the majority of story/character flubs were due to the fact that the season was only 6 episodes long and meant to leave the viewers wanting more.

haha. it's so funny it's not funny. A priest, a rabbi, and an atheist walk into a bar. After a couple of beers they start discussing religion. They determine that they all respect each other's beliefs, and they all leave after about an hour. Except the priest, he's an alcoholic and it's destroying his family.

^^ agreed. It seemed to set the tone for what's to come- Obviously these folks are alone, and who knows what sort of trouble they'll get themselves into, I just hope that firing the writers and bringing new ones in doesn't spoil the overall storyline-which I admit, is left rather shaky at the moment.

okay so nope, i was wrong. i don't have any complaints so far about the series (except of course how short the season is) if i had to sit through endless episodes of zombie killing it would get old pretty quick. As with any good movie, or series, it's all about character development. Zombies don't add any more than an alien attack or a bad storm or whatever is going on to bring out the best and worst in the characters (but they pretty cool, and scary).

well i'm looking into that scene now because it's buggin' the shit out of me. I could very well be wrong.

I'll have to watch it again, I'm pretty sure that was in there. Is anyone else bummed that there's only 3 episodes left? You know they're going to end it on one hell of a cliffhanger.
