  1. Apparently the third Daniel Craig Bond film (the 23rd in the franchise) is postponed "indefinitely" due to the studio MGM's financial troubles.
  2. ^^Damn, that was such a good scene! And I've already made peace w/ the fact I'll probably have to buy the S6 Blu-Ray set to get ALL the answers, or at least some of the minor ones. Darlton have said as much in their podcasts. One major "minor" mystery they've already mentioned that won't be answered in the show proper is who was dropping the
  3. Long-neck giraffes may be miracles, but you should seriously never fuck with one. Live and learn, yo. Peace, and protect yo nuggs.
  4. What the fuck is w/ all this "too cool for school" talk from Jay? He grew up w/ the biggest nerd this side of Crocodile Dundee's stand-in--himself! Oh, and . . .
  5. Agreed. But "TheGodDamnBatman" has to be one of the greatest user names in the history of Hondo's if not the entire Interwebs.
  6. Catching up on Parks & Recreation and Big Bang Theory. . .
  7. This thread is fail w/out "Jimmy Olsen's Blues."
  8. Oh dear god, this shit never gets old. And Nick posted this gem on page 2 but I think people might have overlooked it. Take a gander and laugh your nuggs off...
  9. Agreed and seconded. Also the extra features better be completely new and have some kick ass docs on the BR version if they want me to shell out more money for the entire six films in one box set. They'll likely release the individual films a year or two later if they follow the DVD model. But in five-seven years time fans will do this dance again likely w/ the 3D version.
  10. No worries, Choose Life. Yeah, I knew all the sideways haters would have to eat humble pie in the end. This looks like a very promising last few episodes. The last three episodes have been so epic. Smokey is losing his shit, it seems...
  11. Saw KICK-ASS today. A lot less bloody than I anticipated and they changed a few things for the protagonist so it worked out more Hollywood, but said change did lead to at least two laugh out-loud moments for me--so no complaints on my part. Overall a B+ for me.
  12. Wow. I really dig those last 3 you posted, NZA. I'll have to look up more of their stuff. I can't stop watching this clip and its various (mostly) lame parodies on youtube for some reason:
  13. The acting is flawed but the concept is pretty fucking hilarious. Also, watch until after the credits for the best line.
  14. Ugh, when you gonna report some good Red Sox news, Benny? Double ugh for Oritz. Fuh!
  15. Again, haven't read issue #41 yet, but I can see it going either way for a continued Wee Hughie.Starlight romance. Although, I see Hughie's coming to light during this arc in an embarrassing way for the Wee one.
  16. Haven't read the latest issue, but I was a bit confused at first as I thought Butcher always knew And I loved all of the origin issues. Frenchie, Mother's Milk, and the Female were all good stand-alone issues IMHO.
  17. Series I'm watching currently are: LOST season6 The Pacific (just watched part 3) Breaking Bad season3 Community S1 30 Rock S3 Scrubs S9 Modern Family S1 The Office S6
  18. Thanks, Arnah. I miss you and the Oz crew as well. And I see Nick is still in top form with his trademark "snark." Him and his damn inviso-txt clique.
  19. The island explodes then it fades to Desmond in a a shower talking about this weird dream he had and the camera pulls out to reveal the shower is in a snow globe owned by Hurley who is sitting in a restaurant with Tony Soprano then it fades to black right before Rachel proposes to Ross.
  20. It's been nearly a decade since I read the graphic novel and saw the film, but I honestly don't remember the movie being shit on a stick (or incarnate). It wasn't spectacular or groundbreaking, but it wasn't that bad from what I recall either...
  21. One of the Hughes Bros is apparently trying to get a live action version of AKIRA going over at Warner Bros. I'm sure some die-hard anime heads will scream sacrilege, but I say we're in the Golden Age of Geekdom where comic/manga/anime works are getting serious treatment, so it could be a good thing. These guys did a decent job w/ From Hell, but I haven't seen Book of Eli yet...
