  1. Dammit, Reeves - forget all your other projects and the likely damage it'll do to your career! The world needs Bill and Ted! LOL - aaand the movie is never happening.
  2. The star of the game is the toybox. Those playset worlds / mission-things are painfully weak and buggy. I beat the Guardians one in like 3 hours. Yikes. Only reason to play 'em is to unlock - y'know, the Milano, Avengers Tower...assets for the toybox. I totally expect Indiana Jones in like, Wave 3 of this Infinity 3.0 - I don't see a slew of Indy figures, so it would kinda make sense that it would just be his character as a figure representing the series. After Star Wars, I can't think of a major franchise they can milk with a figure line. I'm kinda hoping, if they do a 4.0 - it would be based on the Disney Afternoon. Darkwing Duck, the Rescue Rangers, Gizmo Duck - hopefully Roger Rabbit! But it probably ain't mass-market enough. I unlocked concept art of Benny the Cap in 2.0, apparently he was gonna be a vehicle disc. What a tease! If Disney owned the Dragonball franchise, we would bear witness to an anime renaissance! Oh, man. That franchise would get the 5-star treatment. It would totally be a part of Infinity. I can see the trailer now: all the Disney, Marvel, Star Wars characters hangin' - then Vegeta shows up. Making fun of everybody. Whaaat? Disney owned Power Rangers for a bit, but they sold it back to Saban. I figured they realized the entire franchise was centered around punching things and being violent towards giant monsters. God, I loved the original run. I hear Ivan Ooze is gonna cameo in the next X-Men movie! I only have a Link and Zelda amiibo. I'd love to have Mega Man, Pac Man, Duck Hunt, Game n' Watch and Ness. They need to do more with those things, gaming-wise though!. At least with the Infinity figures, you can jump into a 'mash-up' world of your own creation and throw down with 'em. Bonus. But I guess that's the point. Amiibos are a different animal, I guess...right now. Still waiting to see what Nintendo plans to do with 'em in the long-term.
  3. I don't know too much about the universe of Dragonball. Remember when it first came out on Cartoon Network? My friends all loved it - I didn't. Everybody was buzzing about Dragonball - I thought it was the most boring, over-inflated crap I had ever seen. And I LOVED Power Rangers! Entire episodes seemed to be focused on a punch. Oddly enough, I loved the Budokai game. Last year at Best Buy, I saw entire Dragonball Z seasons on bluray for $15. I said screw it, let me give it a shot. I have six seasons now - but I let it go after that whole Cell Saga. I hear it just keeps going, but I was satisfied with the business Season 1 started. My knowledge doesn't go much farther than that Majin Buu Saga - thanks to that Budokai HD Collection on XBOX360. Personally, I can't think of alot of iconic Dragonball assets that would sustain a mass-market sandbox / playset structure. Alot of the appeal of Infinity is the decades of iconic assets that you can play with. I think Dragonball is at home as a fighting game - but nicely done, affordable Dragonball figures would definitely sell like hotcakes. Only places I can think of that are iconic and I would like to run around in and explore and maybe edit - would be that island where Master Roshi lived and Namek's cool looking buildings.
  4. This is from USA Today. This is IGN. No figure pics that I can find. Yet.
  5. I was ALL OVER that Carnage DLC. Totally missed out on the Juggernaut DLC. That still hurts. Yeah, man - 106 issues and I ate it all up. The Spidey and Speedball stuff was by far the most interesting stuff. I loved it. Loved it.
  6. I'm gonna start a Scud re-read tonite. It'll take me a few days, but then - the Tick! Then the Mask! This page makes me wanna revisit those worlds!
  7. BTW - Ultron and Ant-Man figures are also gonna be in 3.0, not just the Hulk-Buster.
  8. It's too much. So much, it's silly! It's so distracting during gameplay footage. (There's gameplay videos in the game for every character - sizzle reels) There's this jutting appenditure where there shouldn't be one! He's not Violator! I'm sure I'll get him eventually when he's like $5. CARS blows - but I ended up getting that playset on a $9 sale. So, there you go. The completionist in me can't resist some good sales. Rapunzel was $5, I've never even seen the movie - but she comes with a frying pan weapon. In this game, if a character comes with a weapon - all the characters can use it. Jack Skellington came with exploding pumpkins, Wreck-it-Ralph has these cherries that cause 8-bit explosions, Syndrome came with that Zero Point Energy Gauntlet...some characters come with perks. Venom doesn't bring anything to the table - except annoy me with his design. LOL!
  9. I wanted Venom but, seeing gameplay and just staring at the figure at the store, he was just not...good...looking to me. That lower jaw is too much. Ah dunno, reminds me of that Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3. People love it, though.
  10. I JUST finished reading the entirety of Civil War. All the tie-in and crossover issues...ALL 106 issues. I played the crap out of Ultimate Alliance 2...and the first one for that matter. Got all the achievements. I knew it was a loose adaptation, but I thought I got the gist of the story. With the movie coming out, I thought I'd read the source material. When I was reading the comics, I recognized some scenes...I was like, "Oh! I saw this in cg - cool!" But the ending and where the whole thing went was vastly different. Not gonna lie, it was kinda anti-climatic. The matter didn't really feel resolved at the end. AWESOME moments, though! POWERFUL stuff going on. When I finally got to the end - it just didn't feel like the whole issue was over.
  11. I collect and play! I'm on the Wii U. I got: Disney Infinity 1.0 - Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, Lone Ranger, Tonto, Lightning McQueen, Holly Shiftwell, Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa, Davy Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Syndrome, Sulley, Mike Wazowski, Randall, Apprentice Mickey, Jack Skellington, Rapunzel, Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope. Disney Infinity 2.0 - Iron Man, Thor, Spidey, Black Widow, Nova, Starlord, Gamora, Groot, Donald Duck and Aladdin. My favorite vehicle is Darkwing Duck's Ratcatcher. It's super-sweet. They need to make a Darkwing figure in the next one. I got too many Power Discs to list. 2.0 is cool 'cuz of the interiors, it gives you awesome assets. I made this Marvel and Disney museum and my 'apartment' is modeled after Seinfeld's apartment. Bzzzzz! "C'mon up!" It's fun if you're into creating stuff. My star toybox is pretty much Springfield from the Simpsons. I also made this cabin in the woods, the interior is the closest I could get it to the Knowby cabin. I don't know anybody else who plays. Holla if you do! I'm not rich - LOL! I just wait for the sales: 2-for-1, half-off...they put out lots of sales. Figures are going for $9.99 right now at Best Buy and Walmart. The playsets are $19.99. I think they're pushing out their inventory, 3.0 is quickly approaching: August 23rd. I'll get it when it's on sale a few months down the road.
  12. Okay, cool. Vids on youtube and pics and GIFS on some pic site - then link. Thanks, dude. I'm pathetically ignorant on this stuff. I got the concept. Shit, isn't the internet going to explode one day with all the crap people constantly upload? I heard youtube had an insane amount of hours that gets uploaded every day. It's got to give!
  13. We taught EACH OTHER how to draw Sonic! We sharpened our designs w/ our 'super-awesome' Sonic comics. (RIP) How would I uh, post pics or animations that I've made and are on my CPU? I'm really ignorant when it comes to social media stuff. Do I have to post the material on a website and then link it to my post? Is that how that works? Like, it requires an URL-thingie?
  14. I used to be able to beat that game with my eyes closed! I would run through the game, just so I could watch those cutscenes. I spent so much time on that game. I had known of Scud, through that Wizard article - but never bumped into any issues on the shelves. That game was my 'interactive' intro into that comic universe. Oh, how I wanted more. I just kept replaying it.
  15. Same here. I'm dying to know if Slimer is gonna be a part of it and what he'll look like. I'm telling you now, I'm going to roll my eyes the moment the girls make a "don't cross the streams" joke.
  16. I totally agree, the franchise doesn't need a sequel. I just think the world needs Bill and Ted now more than ever. Alot of people remember them as a couple of stoner delinquents. Precursors to Beavis and Butt-head. They were actually extremely ambitious, positive and optimistic. Bogus Journey is an underrated cinematic gem. I think it's message was lost on alot of people. They are admirable characters. I think the world needs a solid dose of optimism and positivity - what better guise than an inspired comedic blockbuster? That premise sounds awesome - a journey to fulfill destiny and save the world through music? STATION!
  17. I vividly remember the first movie I saw at the theater. Who Framed Roger Rabbit. 1988. Le Jeune Cinema 6. I was 7 years old. I remember walking out of the theater, and y'know those posters they have outside? I remember just staring at the movie poster absolutely spellbound. My remember my mom having to pull me away. The movie blew my mind.
  18. I've been trying to get Panch to watch these prequel reviews! They are BRILLIANT! Half in the Bag Reviews are so well done. They tear movies apart, but they're fair. I don't always agree, but I love their style. So awesome that they have a thread at Hondo's! They're my cup of tea.
  19. "STATION!" This sequel needs to happen! The world needs it! Bogus Journey has the most epic end-credit sequence of all time! Man, I really hope it happens. "Party on and be excellent to each other." Great message. Great movies.
  20. http://tvshowsondvd....ed-Series/21323BTTF Animated Series also gets separate release. WHOA! Just found some awesome details concerning the set. Um, I don't think I got a handle on posting links.
  21. It wasn't great, but it wasn't offensive to the franchise either. The movies were done, but if you wanted more BTTF - catching the cartoon series on tv was cool. Best part of the series were the live-action intro and end caps with Christopher Lloyd in full Doc Brown gear in skits that tied-in with that cartoon episode. The actor who played Biff also voiced all his relatives throughout time! Pretty cool to a 10 year-old BTTF fan. It was 1991. The BTTF ride came out the same year. If you're a nostalgia slut, it's fun. For the BTTF fan who wants more adventures, there really only is the cartoon show, the BTTF ride and that BTTF episodic game that came out a few years ago. Y'know - I love stuff like the Super Mario Bros Super Show 'cuz I remember running home to see it. I have fond memories when I watch it today and I appreciate it for what it was. If you didn't love it then, good chance you won't fall in love with the lame plots, dated jokes and craptastic animation. I totally watch this stuff through rose-tinted glasses, 'cuz I was there. Takes me back.
  22. This looks like a live-action version of The Real and Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon series. I love them both, I got the firehouse box set. After Ramis died, I knew the classic series was dead too. The only way it could continue was if the surviving cast passed the baton, but even then - it wouldn't star the "classic" cast. It would be starring new blood. A total reboot is still hard to swallow. I feel they needed the aged classic Ghostbusters passing the torch, to ensure the older fans were onboard. Y'know? The ones screaming for a sequel? Discarding the established world and telling fans that wasn't worth continuing - I feel bad for Aykroyd. Dana's son Oscar as a Ghostbuster is a great starting point. After the backlash this reboot got, I hear they're doing just that with another film series. Weird.
  23. I loathed the first one. To me, a huge part of TMNT is the Hamato Yoshi / Oroku Saki dynamic. Such torture to watch as a TMNT superfan. But hey, Transformers makes bajillions of dollars. The movie didn't need to be good, but successful. The only thing I'm looking forward to in this "thing" is what Rocksteady and Beebop are gonna look like. I've always wished they had used them in Secret of the Ooze. I don't think I did the spoiler-thing right...
  24. LOL! Really impressive running cycles - so many different art styles. I'd love to do one, but I wouldn't know how to post it.
