150 for the standalone, and 300 for the arcade bundle(which comes wiht 4!, 4gbs of memory and a slot for a hdd that doesn't exist!)... the bundle isn't bad but man that 150 for exisiting owners... better is the euro prices 150/130 pounds.... which is about 200 US HAHAHA as per normal fuck the assuies!

the realid thing is bullshit and if they take the way they seem to want to(ie you'd use it for everything, starcraft mulitplayer, all wow no just friends, d3) then fuck blizzard, I'm done with them, it should be something you can choose to do or just use an whatever name you want... shit there are so many way to abuse this is itsn't funny and it's only going to get worse. Also after reading and talking to some HR guys at big compnies I'm going to take down my facebook page and set my twitter to private, the shit that gets people from getting jobs isn't funny(and yes it's not always legal but your fucked either way) and finding out your a big time gamer does not get you jobs, I've spent my life keeping my gaming life and my professional and family life separte for the most part, the people who know I game are my close friends pretty much and I plan to keep it that way.

Ok here's the scope, only 2 players at a time, and right now you have to stand up for EVERYTHING even movies and menus, though they hope to have it so you can sit down for movies controls by launch(no pressure there dev team!) no timeline for when you'd be able to make games that would need you to sit down but for right now they are telling dev's, dont' plan on it.... oh man this launch is gonna be intriguing.

It's also being reported that it will support game installs so you dont' have to carry around all those games... my god all I need it to do is give me head and I'll never put it down...

Some crazy shit flying around, aside from the rumored $150 price point, there's alot of talk that you can't use it while sitting down, this has been brought up by both IGN and Kataku and it was noted that you could not sit down during any demo of it, not even for forza, and when the kotaku guy tried and asked if he could he was also told that it was either opitmized for standing or being worked on. Some developer said that MS said not to make games the require or can use sitting just yet.... O_O wow wow wow if this is true and ends up not being ready in time for launch. BTW it seems this also seems to extend to the hand movents for menu's and movie controls(spoken controls still work but you can't set it to only your voice -_-) While MS can still pull everything off I think they are coming very close to a distaster, if the sitting thing ends up true at launch and the 150 price point... plus sony has said that move games will be 40 bucks and right now rumor says kincet will be 60..... thoughts? **edit** This was put up after I posted this. the 3ds isn't this gen(if you call the ds this gen anyway) it's next gen, keep that in mind. no reading isn't why the iphone sells but it is a fuction of it along with web browsing and such so I can see nintendo adding some of it's functionality to the 3ds in order to help compete. Some things arn't hard to do and you can use it as a selling point(oh little jimmy can play games and read books for school on it?) though tbh i don't think it'll happen.

ok have you not read the neo gaf threads at all? your looking at a screen size roughly the size of the dsi xl, and people do read books on their iphone. Plus nintendo has stated that they consider the iphone to be a threat, it's just something and nothing is confired though. 2. This will be stronger then the ds because it is a next gen system for nintendo and they have coem out and said so. did you think the DS would be the same power level as the gba? and the rumors about gc minium level power comes from various sources(personally I don't think anywhere near the ps3 or xbos but past the psp, it's not hard to do anymore plus with the smaller screen size you can get things to look really really good with less power.)

some more rumors, IGN was saying they heard that ti will be more powerful then the wii(I think they said closer to the HD consoles but thats not very nintendo like) and some people have be wondering what they will copy from apple since they consider the iphone to be a threat. One thing said would be to have it be able to read books and I wonder if maybe a partnership with them and amazon wouldn't work if thats the case. Amazon seems to want the kindle on every platform known to man and this gives the nintendo product access to a huge amount of ebooks across the world. it would feel like a win win for both(and if I'm amazon I'm at least giving nintendo a call if the ebooks thing is real.) This is complete and total random speculation on my part btw. one week to go.
