this season is starting out pretty awesome.

Eli and I just finished The Strangers last night and aside from the last ridiculous 2 minutes of the film that didn't fit, i thought it was a pretty decent psychological horror film. has anyone else seen it?

psh, of course not! i know a couple other people who do that too. and wendy's fries dipped in frosty is awesomely delicious. sometimes, my dad puts ketchup on his scrambled eggs. when he was in the army, scrambled eggs were made from a powdered mix and tasted crappy so a lot of people used to put ketchup on them so he grew to like it that way. i like to eat limes with salt every once in a while. i also used to squeeze lime juice onto salted chips and eat them.

ha! i do the same thing! do you eat your meal in any particular order? i usually eat things from food i like the least to best. i'll also ration my food so that if i start getting full on one of the "lesser" foods, i'll move on so i know there'll be room so i can eat all of my favorite thing still.

definitely heartbreaking. i guess he'll at least be in dr. parnassus (for the most part). but still, he owned this character. i guess having him as the joker at least once is far better than nothing.

yeah, he was saying he can't read the panels in order or something so he hated comics. excuses, excuses. in batman, if the campy joker is toned down from the original campier script like burton says it was, then jesus christ. i guess it was a more fitting joker for an 80s movie with a prince soundtrack and jack attack. i can't see heath's joker fitting well in burton's batman and vice versa. now that you guys are talking about hamill's joker, i want to see it.

OK, so last night i finally figured out that nick, kertins, and i had fucking missed the last 4-5 episodes of season 3 because we had thought the season ended with the serial killer episode (i think) for whatever reason (probably since we'd already seen it online and assumed they were repeating episodes already). i figured something was up when jax put up his current avatar and i didn't remember seeing that scene in the show. i feel like i've just found $100 in the pocket of a dirty and unscrupulous pair of jeans.

how weird...i was just telling nick about that one yesterday. the sexy jesus song is catchy.

i hadn't read the mist so i thought that's how the original story ended since it was so very king-esque. i really disagree with apt pupil being a good adaptation. i thought it was complete shit which really pissed me off since the story was so well done. with that being said, different seasons was awesome source material (except for "the breathing method," which was really, uh, unadaptable-ish). knocking 2 out of 3 out of the park isn't bad at all.
