  1. i liked ralph in the movie strange days, an overlooked thriller back in the day. From then on, i try to check out what else he's been in. I also saw a movie, i forgot the name, summer vacation or something like that, with joseph fiennes (wonder if they're related?) with that chick from the 13th floor. she's really hot, but the movie is what it was, a sunday afternnoon movie.
  2. yeah, there was this cg final fight sequence? i wanted to see more, cause the bastards cut it off at the worst part. kinda like kenshin, right? hey ic, if you really want to kill yourself, try stopping at disc 22 or so.
  3. well, where you are at, it doesn't really matter now what order anymore, as long as you don't watch the tv series out of order. the oav (2 disc) is pretty much right down your alley. The movie (single movie, spans 2 discs) is pretty much a side story, like an episode of the tv series, only longer. the reviewers are right about the middle being the big part of the series.

  5. For sure, it's bigger than x-box. IC, you mean cinema, right? Why do you think it's unrealistic for more than 3 consoles to compete? After all, it did start with only 2, sega and nintendo.
  6. right... you gotta look no further than newtype if you wanna speak mech. both of those look really cool - i could go for it. you probably already know this, but that guy with wolf's rain is right down your alley, fort worth. Sad to see it's got only 3 eps, though. oh yeah, i forgot to mention, you probably liked that god/philosophy episode on cowboy bebop too, right?
  7. ed? why does everyone like ed? i do not like ed. call me typical, but i like spike and faye. These two break the mold of typical anime characters. IC, you like the cowboy episode? i do not like green eggs and ham, sam i am~! just thought i shoulda put that in, cause that's what it sounded like when i was readin my post.
  8. vampire hunter d is well animated in my opinion, but that's all i can say about it. a lot of my high school friends liked it, but i guess that just ain't the kind of movie i like. it's best described as horror/action. The other stuff i haven't seen.
  9. I always wanted to see this cause of our familiar hero, russel crowe. As always, he does great and here, he is absolutely a bad-ass. The story here is about an engineer that was kidnapped in south america by a militant group. The sect used to be religious or anti-govt (of which i can't remember, but isn't important) and have turned to making cocane and kidnapping for funds. His wife is played by Meg Ryan. The insurance company that covers kidnapping sends crowe (soldier/negotiator) to help. As aadil has stated, "the movie is split between three main roles." Crowe, ryan, and that guy from the rock, second in command to ed harris. So even though it presents interesting worlds of thought, it does not stand out as something great. It is entertaining though.
  10. oh yeah? i might just have to skool you again mr IC. anyway... speaking of fighting tournaments... upcoming game- Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Xbox), will have online capabilities. How the hell do they do that? now, all they gotta do is get that up and running for soul calibur 2 and then i'll have your ass on a platter.
  11. Screenshots The game just for the IC. so goes the discription on gamespy..... The Wild, Wild West is about to explode with Capcom's new 3D gun slinging epic -- Red Dead Revolver. Erupting from the imagination of Capcom and Angel Studios, PlayStation 2 gamers will have the chance to take on a slew of fat, sweaty hombres in what can best be described as Devil May Cry versus GunSmoke with attitude. Taking on the role of a ninja-hard cannon-twirler named Red, it's up to you to strike back at the sadistic bandits that claimed the lives of his beloved family many years ago. Raised and nurtured by a friendly Indian, Red has mastered the art of quick-drawing, pistol-wielding carnage, and he's all set to paint a few ghost towns, well, red. Advertisement Expect to skulk around tumbleweed-ridden towns, shacks, and plains as you quest to bring ultimate justice home. Not since the likes of Max Payne have extraordinarily intense gun battles been seen. Red can take down the baddies using the "Revolver" aiming mode which allows specific body location targeting to take place. If an overweight, boozed-up redneck is holding some buxom saloon wench hostage, you might wanna shoot his kneecaps out, or even give a few rounds between the eyes. Whatever your preference, Red Dead Revolver will offer up some fantastic and unfeasible bullet-fueled japes and capers. Who doesn't want a piece of that? Storyline and character interaction details are still a little thin on the ground, but we'll be bringing you more on Red and his hang-em-high tactics later in the year. info
  12. just noticed the difference between systems, the x-box version doesn't have nearly as many jaggies as the gamecube version, pictured above. It also has a darker, grittier look. i feel gyped.
  13. just played a little of it the other day. unlike halo, the learning curve in this game is almost nill. you could pretty much pick up the controller and go at it. this game has a stunning sense of being there, because the perspective is constantly changing. from what i know, there are 2 basic buttons. the general flight path is drawn out. so simple, how is that any good? it's kind of like you're really flying with orta. anyway, it's based on simplicity. more as it comes.
  14. dude!! i haven't seen part II!!! thanks
  15. gotta hand it to yahve, this series is really good. yeah, IC, i'd go with either that guy you were mentioning, he goes by saitoh. however, he's got a close runner up, and his name is hiko. he's such a narccisist... (sp) but he's too cool
  16. oh yeah, my fav janet album... can't find a pic for the insert...
  17. i'm 100% sure he likes this one: Here's one of my favs: interesting.... always liked -
  18. Panzer Dragoon Orta is filled with style and substance, making it a must-play if not a must-have. For good measure, Panzer Dragoon Orta is filled to the brim with extra features, including a full-on port of the original 1995 Panzer Dragoon game, which, though it doesn't look nearly as good now as it did in its day, is still a lot of fun, boasts a timelessly great orchestral soundtrack, and is well worth playing today. Other extra features include stand-alone scenarios that will test your shooting skills to the fullest, as well as a surprising seven-mission side story from the perspective of an imperial boy in military training. You'll even get to unlock additional playable characters, plus tons of artwork and a virtual encyclopedia about the Panzer Dragoon world. All this should add up to at least 20 hours of gameplay, which is a lot for a single-player shooter.
  19. was looking this game up... the previous saturn installations of this game are over $100!!!
  20. no one can deny, spawn looks coolest.
  21. OMG.... David Mills: Honestly, have you ever seen anything like this? William Somerset: No. Beautiful...... dolby digital...... drool...... Auction with pics Gamespot Screenshots note: just for nick.... here's the place to rent videogames online.... Link me. now!
  22. dammit..!! the link was working fine this morning and it seems to be down now. but, yeah, the pics of spawn were by far the coolest. don't get me wrong, link is cool. however, spawn looks more stylish.
  23. good point, IC. Never thought of it from the parental standpoint. But go download that mix, it's a good one. I actually heard it before the original version (you know, since i like to drive 93.1 style.) Then one day, i was listening to another station, and i heard the original version, and i was like... this sucks... the link i put up before is kinda rawnchy, so be foreworned.
  24. ok... yall are gonna bash me too. but it's not so much about image to me here. I flip on the radio and that's what i wanna hear - good tunes that i like. ok - so what if christina's bearing it now? yeah, it's disappointing to see her do something like mariah and go skank, but i like that dirrty song. There is actually a better mix than the original that 93.1 (nick'll back me on this station) plays called the tracy young remix. remember, there's other skank all the way artists out there... sometimes just plain freaky. i mean, prince is like that, and he's just oozing with talent. on the other hand, marlyn manson is crappy. he's smart though! hell, i'd rather bitch about other artists, and that's cause i don't like their music, not image... chris rock, busta rhymes, etc oh, yeah, backing silent bob here- i also like 98 degrees, n sync, bsb, and five, blah, blah, blah.... they HAVE talent. They can sing well. people are suprised when their stereotypes are broken when they sing at baseball games. I like a lot of their music, not all. albiet, they're not as good as groups like boys II men. Cristina shows her piercings
